3 TRITOflex is an instant-setting liquid rubber membrane that is water-based and environmentally safe. It is a tough yet extremely flexible material that can be efficiently sprayed to any thickness in a single coat creating a fully adhered, monolithic waterproofing membrane with no waste. TRITOflex is lightweight so it can be applied directly over an existing substrate eliminating the need for wasteful and costly tear-offs. Since it is water-based with no VOC s, it is considered a green product that is sustainable for years as a restorative waterproofing system. INSTANT-SET LIQUID RUBBER TRITOtrowel is a high viscosity water-based patch and flashing compound specifically designed as a high tensile strength yet flexible brush or trowel applied waterproofing membrane. It is typically used as a flashing component for the TRITOflex system, however, it is ideal for sealing leaky roof penetrations, duct work, seams, cracks, tears, and punctures in almost any roof system. TRITOtrowel may also be used for a variety of other waterproofing purposes and is installed in only one coat to any desired thickness. TRITOguard is a multi-layer premium grade waterproofing protection course/drainage mat for Triton s waterproofing systems. Once installed per specifications, TRITOguard will also act as an additional layer of waterproofing for various applications; particularly for below-grade waterproofing systems. ONE SYSTEM The Product Suite for Seamless Protection and Performance SOLUTIONS for the ENTIRE BUILDING ENVELOPE TRITOtherm is an acrylic and ceramic based thermal insulating coating that reflects UV rays and dramatically reduces heat transfer through it resulting in a thermal insulating barrier. It is also a premium protective coating that prevents premature degradation to roof membranes it is applied to. It can be used as the surface coat to the TRITOflex system or it may be applied over other types of roofs to slow deterioration and provide superior energy efficiency through its reflectivity, emissivity and thermal properties. TRITOcryl is a premium grade acrylic elastomeric protective coating for various types of roofs including the TRITOflex rubber membrane system. It helps to slow degradation to the critical waterproofing components within any roofing or waterproofing system by creating a protective barrier to the sun. TRITOcryl is typically provided in white for reflective properties but comes in a variety of colors upon request. TRITOprime is a low VOC asphaltic primer for spray or roll application to existing asphalt based roof systems, metal flashings, or concrete surfaces prior to installing the TRITOflex or TRITOtrowel products. The thin-bodied SP asphalt penetrates the surface and allows for a stronger cohesive bonding between the old surface and the TRITOflex products. 6 FEATURED PROJECT METAL ROOF RETROFIT Client Problem A 28 year old rusted metal roof system over a high volume bank began to leak heavily where metal panels had shifted, compromising the watertight seal to keep water from entering the building. The leaking metal system caused damage inside the building, interrupting the bank s daily operations. The current metal roof needed to have the rust problem handled and be restored to watertight condition without any disruption to the bank s daily operations. TRITON s Solution Since tearing off the existing roof was not an option, TRITON provided two solutions. Option 1: Install a new 60 mil single-ply membrane mechanically fastened to the existing metal, requiring cover boards to be placed, and fastened down, between each standing seam and then laying a single-ply membrane over, drilling thousands more fasteners into the roof. Not only would the single ply membrane recover be a difficult and noisy installation, but if punctured at any time moisture could easily enter within the new roof system and travel extensively under the single-ply and wick around all of the fasteners. Option 2: Install a spray application of TRITOflex seamless rubber membrane directly over top of the existing metal at 80 mils, creating a truly monolithic waterproofing membrane over the entire roof system. The environmentally friendly TRITOflex membrane sets the standard with its extreme elongation and ability to conform and flex with the underlying metal. The application is simple, fast, and non-intrusive. TRITON also recommended a ceramic white top coating to be applied over TRITOflex to create an insulating thermal barrier to the sun, resulting in extreme energy cost savings. Client Result TRITOflex fluid-applied rubber roofing system was installed within 5 days without any disturbance or interruption of the bank s regular operation and the building was restored to watertight condition the same day it was sprayed with TRITOflex. The client achieved a watertight, hail resistant membrane that will withstand movements of the metal panels underneath and is guaranteed with a 15-year material and labor warranty.
