Introduction The company The process We are proud to announce the launch of the Zhejiang Eastern Haobo Pipes Co. Ltd., effective 10th March, 2015 which produces DFHB Centrifugally Cast Glass Reinforced Plastic Pipe Systems. Our company was previously known as Zhejiang Eastern Pipes Company Ltd. and manufactured this range of pipes under license from the inventor of this process for the last 20 years from 1995 to BOSSPIPE DOUBLE C GRP is a composite material consisting of three components and can be classified as a thermosetting plastic. Base materials for manufacture are unsaturated polyester resins as bonding agent, chopped glass fibers as reinforcement and quartz sand as aggregate. During the fully automated centrifugal casting process, components are fed into the mould using special programmes to electronically control the timing and dosing of the materials to produce the desired wall structure. The pipe wall structure is built up from its exterior surface. When all the materials have been positioned in the mould, the rotation speed is increased.

Due to the centrifugal forces the materials are pressed against the wall of the mould under enormous pressure (up to 40G) and the compound materials are compacted and de-aerated completely. This manufacturing technology assures the production of pipes with high density walls free of voids and evenly smooth surface all over their length. The curing of the pipes proceeds in the rotating mould, so that an exact roundness with constant wall thickness over the whole length of the pipe is guaranteed. Upon completion of the polymerization process, the finished pipe is extracted from the mould. The outside surface of the pipe is completely smooth and has the same outside diameter all over its length. Features and Benefits DFHB CCGRP Pipe Systems provide: Excellent chemical and corrosion resistance. High stiffness. Ability to resist high static and axial loads. Smooth internal surface. High hydraulic efficiency. High abrasive resistance. High durability. 10 year design life. Resistant to UV light and frost. Constant outside diameter. Choice of fittings. Light weight pipe with push-fit sleeve coupling. Couplings can accommodate angular deflection.

Characteristics As the wall construction of BOSSPIPE Double C GRP Pipe Systems varies according to the required pressure class and stiffness, the material parameter ranges are only given as a guide. More detailed information on a particular pipe design may be obtained by contacting our Sales Engineer. Please see Table below for the characteristic short-term material constants for Double C GRP Pipes.

Applications The company The process The unique qualities of high strength combined with flexibility and corrosion resistance, make DFHB CCGRP Pipe Systems very attractive for use in numerous applications, including water supply, sewerage, drainage, transportation of slurries and in industrial processing plants. There are many successful installations where CCGRP pipes have been used for the following: -- Gravity Sewers -- Pressure /Force Main Sewers -- Potable Water Lines -- Relining -- Hydro-Electric Plants -- Industrial Pipelines -- Double Pipelines --Water and Sewer Treatment Plants Pipe Jacking -- Bore Casting, Ventilation Shafts and Ducts -- Submarine Pipes and Outfalls -- Special Applications Such as manholes and water/sewerage storage tanks.

STANDARDS BOSSPIPE Double C GRP pipes are manufactured and supplied to comply with several national and international standards: ISO IS010639:2004 IS010467:2004 BS ISO 25780:2011 EN BS EN 14364:2013 U.S.A. AWWA C950 ASTM ASTM D3754 ASTM D3262 China GB/T GB/T
