1 AASF#2 Brooksville Lighting Upgrade PN Scope of Work Specification summary General Replace light fixtures in designated areas Section 1 Removal of existing equipment 1. Contractor will remove 31 existing high bay light fixtures in designated areas Section 2 Installation of new equipment 2. Install - quantity 26 - LED High Bay light fixtures Light fixture specifications Acceptable manufacturers See Fixture Schedule No substitutions 2.2. Mounting Fixtures Fixture mounting height and locations are listed in plans Light fixtures will be pendant mounted from ¾ rigid conduit connected to T type conduit body coded to be allowed for use as a junction device Conduit bodies will be directly connected to and supported by ¾ (minimum) rigid horizontal conduit Acceptable Conduit Body manufacturers Hubbell Type RLT Conduit All weight bearing conduit will be ¾ (minimum) rigid type Horizontal (weight bearing) ¾ conduit will be supported by stainless steel cable hangers, secured to pre-drilled channel Acceptable cable hanger manufacturers Gripple All other NON weight bearing conduit will be EMT type Pre-drilled Channel ( Uni-strut ) Pre drilled channel will be secured to roof truss bottom chords by beam clamps Acceptable pre-drilled channel and mounting accessory manufacturers Thomas and Betts Kindorf B905 Series channel Thomas and Betts Kindorf U-501Beam Clamp Substitutions for materials outlined in this section must be accompanied by a manufacturer s specification and data sheet and are subject to review for approval/denial Electrical Connections Paint Shop Existing junction devices in Paint Shop are to be re-used where applicable Abandoned junction devices are to be covered/sealed in a manner consistent with current NEC and local electric code Comp Clean Room Existing direct fixture related junction devices are not to be reused for mounting new fixtures. Controls There is no central lighting control system requirement 2.5.
