It is the Largest Green Industrial Project for Nike Shoes in Tay Ninh Province. This 220,000 sq.m factories, invested in by South Korean-invested Taekwang Vina includes building on 25 ha in the Moc Bai border economic zone. The Factories manufacture various products for Nike. This is the FIRST Green Industrial Complex, which specified that steel buildings must meet LEED requirements. PEB Steel chooses products, which are Environmentally Friendly to help lessen factors that contribute to air, water and land Pollution. Innovation and Design Process: Energy and Atmosphere - Reducing energy consumption through the use of energy-efficient lighting through skylight and window, high-energy performance roof ventilation & windows, high-performance building exterior walls with improved insulation. - Ridge Ventilation: Ridge ventilation RV 6.0 were designed for this project; with 6 m width, it is a most excellent & efficient ridge ventilator. It is designed especially to utilize negative pressure so that the heat island in the factory blowed out and not to be blowed conversely by the outside wind. Opposite sidewalls of its are paved with fiberglass wall-light sheet to increase the sunlight reflection into the space inside. 4 Roof and Wall Materials - Energy Saving The Green roof system helps keep minimizing the heat inside the building and minimizing UV radiation from attacking its roof membrane. It also minimizes aging of the membrane from heat exposure. White Cream color Roof - reflects more Heat than other roof coating. RECYCLED CONTENT Reducing waste was necessary, & Thus Sustainability of Resources & the Reuse of Limited Resources was part of the Mission to Achieve LEED. 5 Natural Ventilation - Saving RIGDE VENTILATION ON ROOF Roof Ventilation is a NECESSITY to ensure Proper Circulation of Air. Most factories, in Vietnam, used Ineffective Jack Roof Monitors JRM. This is wrong. Hot Air can NOT go up, then Down, Then Up!!!. PEB Steel has had to work closely with owners/developers and Green Consultants to Design the Most Efficient Ridge Ventilator (RV). Efficient Air Circulation means Roof + Wall Ventilation going together to achieve Best Working Conditions for the Workers.
