8 K 3.4 Tile roofing on left and right-hand side of the module field The roof tile edges should reach from the outside to close to the high standing seam in the side gutters, yet not extend over them. This corresponds to a spacing between the module edge (not edge of the module connection) and roof tile edge of mm. In the installation instructions for the EasyIn module, standing seam spaces are stipulated over the entire module field, depending on the number of modules. Abbildung 9 Roof tile mm Gutter bottom left Module connection left Module edge 3.5 General installation sequence The installation of the modules expediently takes place in the sequence shown in the illustration. For this, before installing a module in the lowest row (M1, M2,... Mn) only install one extension below. 10 K Fix the horizontal position of module M1 onto the roof and mark this for the bottom right-hand corner (illustrated). ATTENTION The vertical edge of the bottom right corner should be close to the right edge of the frame of module M1 (see Abbildung 13). Abbildung 13 Lay roof tiles on the U batten below the module field. Ensure that the surfaces of the roof tiles in the dead plate area are clean and dry as well as free of dust and grease. M1 IMPORTANT The roof tiles should offer the dead plates an adhesive surface that is as flat as possible, i.e. high water seams or other rises are to be ground or broken off there. Marking on roof 4.2 Connecting corner and extension Pull off the narrow covering liner on the right lower surface of the first bottom extension. Abbildung 14 Position the bottom right-hand corner and the first bottom 496 mm extension relative to one another with a spacing of 496 mm. The overlap should be 40 mm (illustrated). Assemble the two parts closely to one another by bending the latch on the extension downwards and inserting it into the bottom righthand corner and then directly assembling the two parts together in the gluing area. 13 onfiguration EnergyManager Geräteinstallation Vorbereitung und Planung EN 5 Side installation 5.1 Preparation ATTENTION Abbildung 18 There are two different versions of side gutters: Bottom gutter (right/left): 1,656 mm, with kink --> only available for bottom module row! Gutter (right/left): 1,791 mm, without kink --> can be used from module series 2! Before beginning installation of the side enclosure frame the following requirements must be fulfilled: Protruding Transverse seal The entire module field as well as all upper module connections must be installed. The space between the battens, onto which the side gutters are laid, must not be larger than 400 mm at any point (usually mm) All lower parts of the roof frame must be completely installed. The transverse seals should extend approx. 3 mm over the transverse seal clip or be correspondingly trimmed (Abbildung 18). Gutter on right 5.2 Installation of gutters below To avoid splitting, check whether the gutters below also have to be adjusted and curved at the lower end. Roll in the pointed end of the sealing wedge and bend it in such a way that the opening between the gutter and bottom corner is sealed closed and splitting is avoided (illustrated). Abbildung 19 Module frame Gutter, bottom right Split eliminate Sealing wedge rolled in Bottom right corner Subject to change 2017 SOLARWATT GmbH AZ-TM-PMS-1157 Rev 000 Version: 10/2017 Page 13

14 K Position the gutters on the bottom right and left-hand side approx. 24 mm behind the lower module end (illustrated). Abbildung mm Bottom right corner 5.3 Installation of gutters from module row 2 Press the lower end of a gutter with an overlap of approx. 150 mm onto the upper end of an already laid gutter below it (illustrated). Avoid splitting by bending and adjusting the gutters accordingly. The sealing wedges of both gutters should touch one another seamlessly. Bend the latches of the bottom corner over the bottom gutters. Attach all gutters in the overlapping areas as well as to all battens with hooks and nails from the installation set. ATTENTION Check the following before and after attaching the side gutters: The upper ends of the gutters must close off with the upper ends of the side module frame parts. The top gutters must touch the upper module connection. All gutters must be close and in parallel to the module frame on the mounting brackets. 16 K 5.5 Installation of the side module connections After attaching all gutters the side module connections must be connected. First, on the module connections for the lowest module row an adjustment must be made to the lowest gutters. For this, a correspondingly narrow and wedge-shaped strip is to be separated on the lower (wider) end of the module connections. The separation should begin at the inflexion point of the gutter (space of 254 mm nominal dimension from the lower end of the module connection). Begin with sticking on in the lowest module row and at the bottom end of each of the module connections. Abbildung 24 Abbildung mm nominal dimension Module right connection Inflexion point in gutter ATTENTION After installation, check: The connections must be correctly locked into the module. The bottom ends of the connections must be flush with the module frame. right Module connection Abbildung 26 Page 16 Subject to change 2017 SOLARWATT GmbH AZ-TM-PMS-1157 Rev 000 Version: 10/2017

17 onfiguration EnergyManager Geräteinstallation Vorbereitung und Planung EN 6 Installation at top 6.1 Installation in top-right corner Align the top-right corner to the side by the upper gutter, push it downwards to the upper module connection and hook it into the front edge of the module connection. Abbildung 27 Pressure wedges should prevent the upper parts from slipping during installation. That's why the pressure wedges should press onto the upper connection from behind, not from above (illustrated). Top right corner (rear side) If splits should occur at the overlap with the top gutter, bend the sheet metal parts accordingly. Attach the top-right corner to its upper edge with hooks and screws, as well as at the side in the overlap area with the gutter with hooks and nails. Before attachment, check that all requirements (see ATTENTION box) are met. Add a sealing wedge (30 mm) to the upper gutter (illustrated). Abbildung 28 Top right corner Pressure wedge Sealing wedge ATTENTION Before attachment of the top right corner check: The top gutter must touch the upper module connection. The corner must be in the top-most position and be completely and securely hooked into the top module connection. Subject to change 2017 SOLARWATT GmbH AZ-TM-PMS-1157 Rev 000 Version: 10/2017 Page 17

18 K 6.2 Installation of extensions at top and top left-hand corner It is recommended to first attach each top extension as a test and with the adhesive layer still covered. Here possibly existing splits that are too big for the previously laid upper sheet metal part can be recognized and more easily overcome by bending. Check the metal course on the front edge and bend it, if necessary. Seal the overlapping area with the top right corner or the top extensions. For installation, pull the covering liner off the adhesive layer. Align the right edge of the top extensions to the side of the module centerline and push it downwards onto the upper module connection and the top right corner. The pressure wedges should press onto the upper connection from behind, not from above, in order to prevent slipping of the extension during installation. Attach all parts in the overlapping areas as well as in the center of each top extension with hooks and screws. For the top left corner, proceed in the same way as the top right corner installation and top extension installation. ATTENTION Before attachment of all top parts check: Each part must be in the top-most position over the entire length and be securely hooked into the top module connection. 19 onfiguration EnergyManager Geräteinstallation Vorbereitung und Planung EN 6.3 Sealing the corners at the top With each sealing wedge (60 mm) close the gap between the sheet metal parts and the side module connections on the left and right. Each sealing wedge should be fully pushed into the split and close it over its entire height. Abbildung 29 Completely push sealing wedge into split 7 Sticking the dead plates As soon as the roof tiles are in their final position at the lower module field edge, the dead plates of the lower sheet metal parts can be stuck on. For this, shape the lead plates of all lower parts to the roof tiles. Then pull off the covering liners of the dead plates, step by step, and stick the dead plates to the roof tiles.
