The rate should be in figure as well as in words. 1. The quotation should be sent to this office along with description of stores, makers name specification as per requirement of this office, terms of payment, validity period separately in cover may be mentioned. The cover must be wax sealed. The cover containing copy of PAN nos., Tax clearance, Quoted prices, Sales tax,rebate etc. to be furnished in the proforma forwarded by this office so as to reach within 14=00 Hrs on or before On sealed cover the tenderers will give the following details super scribing on the cover:- a) Materials for which quotation are enclosed. b) Reference of letter or enquiry. c) Due date of opening of quotations. d) Name of address of tender. 2. The quotations will be opened in the office of the undersigned at 15=00 Hrs. on The quotations as submitted should remain open for acceptance for a period of 180 days from the date of opening them. 5. Quotation should strictly conform to the specification mentioned in the particular annexure. 6. Quotation should strictly comply with the enclosed terms & conditions for submission of quotations. 7. Details literatures, drawing, operation manuals etc. applicable for the items offered should be enclosed with quotation stated in para-2 above. 8. Estimated cost Rs. 4.5 Lac. A sum of Rs.9,000/- to be submitted towards E.M.D. 9. The Additional Director General (E)(EZ), AIR & TV, Kolkata reserves the right to reject any or all quotations without assigning any reasons. 10. Lowest Quoted firm should deposit 10% of the order value in the form of B/G or D/Draft as performance Guarantee before getting the order. This should be valid till the completion of warranty period & will be released thereafter. 13. Liquidated Demurrage :- Delay in delivery of materials due to fault on the part of supplier will attract per week to a maximum of 5% of the contract amount. 5 TECHNICAL DATA OF COOLING TOWER Annexure-I S I T C of FRP Cooling Tower of 95 Ton Capacity for 3 x 40 Ton (2Nos. in operational normally) Central AC Plant at Studio, Akashvani Bhavan, Kolkata 1.0 COOLING TOWERS 1.1 Scope : The scope of this section covers supply, installation, commissioning and testing of cooling tower conforming to these specifications also meeting the requirements of drawings and schedule of quantities. Necessary materials for connecting the existing set up with the cooling tower is within the scope to make the entire plant fully operational keeping the existing cooling tower as stand-by. 1.2 Type : The cooling tower shall be of approved make and type indicated in the Schedule of quantities. 1.3 Capacity : The cooling tower capacities shall be as indicated in the specification and/ or drawing/schedule of quantities. 1.4 FRP Induced draft Cooling Tower : Fiber reinforced plastic cooling towers shall be vertical type. Counter flow design, fiber reinforced plastic construction in square of bottle shope complete with casing, fills. Drift eliminator, fan, drive and fan motor and suitable for outdoor installation. 1.5 Casing : Casing shall be made out of FRP with smooth surfaces on both sides. It shall have sufficient structural strength to adequately withstand high wind velocities and vibration. The casing shall be installed in the fiberglass reinforced resin. The tower supporting structure shall be made out of hot dipped galvanized tubular frame. Air intake shall be all along the base circumference of cylindrical FRP casing so that tower can be installed quite independent of prevailing wind direction. A hot dip galvanized expanded metal mesh screen shall protect the air intake. Sufficient clearance between casing and water basin shall be provided to enable servicing and periodic cleaning. Filling shall be of corrosion proof rigid PVC film in honeycomb design and arranged to facilitate easy replacement. To minimize water drift losses, Multiple rotary drift eliminator shall be installed. Firms may visit AIR, Kolkata on any working day between Hrs.to assess the quantum of work before submission of quotation.
