10 ClicWall Seamless MDF walls with an instant finish ClicWall is UNILIN s revolutionary MDF wall-covering system with patented Uniclic technology. The panels click together simply and easily, making ClicWall up to five times quicker to install than more traditional wall covering materials. What is more, a seamless result is obtained and the wall has an instant, long-lasting finish. ClicWall is available in more than 80 designs, with ClicWall Deco offering the opportunity for the finish of your choice: paint, wallpaper or digital print. - Walls - EI 60 separating wall Characteristics 1H Fire retardant (ClicWall FR) PATENTED TECHNOLOGY

11 ClicWall ClicWall is particularly suitable for use as a concealment panel or partition wall, and is mounted on an aluminium or wooden substructure by screwing, gluing or stapling them into place and by clicking the panels together. ClicWall realises in a specific setup a fire resistance of one hour (EI 60) and a acoustic value of 52dB. The reaction to fire of the individual ClicWall FR panels has obtained European classification B-s2-d0. Fires in this powerfully fire-retardant chipboard go out by themselves and the board does not continue to glow after the source of heat has been taken away. What is more, Antivlam Class 0 retains its mechanical strength for an extremely long time in situations involving fire. Antivlam Class 0 must be used in service class 1 (limitations in terms of temperature and atmospheric humidity), and is only suitable for biological hazard class 1 of EN Standard The boards must be carefully protected from all direct contact with water. - Walls - Interior Characteristics P 2 Product class P2 Fire retardant

13 Antivlam Class O Antivlam Class 0 chipboard is ideal for situations in which low reactivity to fire and flame spread is an absolute must (stairwells, exit routes, lift shafts, corridors etc.). Antivlam Class 0 also offers an excellent solution for applications with higher resistance to fire, for example in fire doors or firewalls. The highly fire-retardant chipboard is particularly popular for use in public buildings and has the Wheelmark certificate that is often required for maritime applications. 18 INTERIOR DOOR CORE

19 Courtesy of Beddeleem NV Air 400 Light Ultra-light chipboard for interior door cores Air 400 Light is extremely light chipboard with a fine, sanded surface and a different density to the Air 400. This chipboard is perfectly suited for non-load bearing use in dry environments. It is suitable for applications in service class 1 (limited temperature and atmospheric humidity) and exclusively in biological hazard class 1 of EN Standard Doors Characteristics Lightweight

20 Air 400 Light Tests by Warrington Fire (Belgium) and Effectis (France) have demonstrated that the Air 400 Light is particularly suitable for use as a core for interior doors with a fire resistance of 30 to 60 minutes. The light weight of the carrier board demands less of the hinges than other, heavier board material. The result is a door that is sturdy but light, with minimal distortion in a fire. The ultra-light Air 400 Light boards are also suitable for building stands. 23 Courtesy of Beddeleem NV FD90 Door core with 90-minute fire resistance. FD90 door cores consist of two high-quality, fire-retardant Antivlam chipboard layers (P2-EN312) with a thickness of 27 mm. The two Antivlam boards need to be glued together (Unilin can do this for you, or you can do it yourself) using a highly heat-resistant polyurethane glue. The result is a very stable, 54mm door core with a smooth surface and three high-density layers. The boards have a finely sanded surface and a strong, screwable core. Fire-retardant products may cause deposits on tools and shorten service life. - Doors Characteristics Fire retardant

24 FD90 FD90 door cores have a greatly increased fire resistance when exposed to heat and flames. Antivlam boards have a strong fire-resistant and insulating effect and only have to be 54 mm thick to achieve a fire resistance of more than 90 minutes. The boards must be applied in service class 1 (limitations in terms of temperature and atmospheric humidity), and are only suitable for biological hazard class 1 of EN Standard FD90 door cores form the ideal basis for the production of fire doors where a fire resistance of more than 90 minutes is required. Fire doors with a FD90 core are particularly suitable for use in public buildings such as hospitals, airports, homes for the elderly, theatres, hotels and offices. They can be finished with paper, melamine, laminate or lacquer. Available dimensions and thicknesses The FD90 hinge door component was tested at a breadth of 950 mm and a height of 2200 mm. The increased concentration of natural paraffin in the surface increases its moisture resistance. Our boards with a TopFinish surface also score highly for air tightness. These advantages mean that boards with a TopFinish surface are particularly suitable for building applications. A fine, sanded surface (SA) is recommended if the Durelis board is going to receive an additional finish of melamine, finishing foil, lacquer, veneer or laminate, as is often the case in interior applications. Durelis is available as standard with straight edges, but can also be finished with a tongue-and-groove system (TG). The toothed profile ensures high stability and simple installation. The system makes it possible to nail or screw the panels blind. Available dimensions and thicknesses Durelis is available from stock in various finishes, thicknesses and dimensions. 37 Antivlam Antivlam chipboard is suitable for applications where low reactivity to fire and flame spread is essential (stairwells, exit routes, lift shafts, corridors etc.). Antivlam also offers an excellent solution for applications with higher resistance to fire, such as the core of fire doors or as a firewall. The fire-retardant chipboard is mainly used in public buildings such as hospitals, airports, retirement homes, theatres, hotels etc. An optional finish with tongue-and-groove joints means that Antivlam is also suitable for use as a subfloor in dry environments. These panels can also be used in vertical applications. Always use suitable tools when sawing, milling or drilling Antivlam boards. 38 Antivlam Class 0 Powerfully fire-retardant chipboard for applications in dry environments The addition of halogen-free phosphate salts means that Antivlam Class 0 chipboard meets the stringent Class 0 British Standard and the Wheelmark certificate standards. - Interior - Floors - Walls Characteristics P 2 Product class P2 Fire retardant

39 Antivlam Class 0 Antivlam Class 0 chipboard is ideal for situations in which low reactivity to fire and flame spread is an absolute must (stairwells, exit routes, lift shafts, corridors etc.). Antivlam Class 0 also offers an excellent solution for applications with higher resistance to fire, for example in fire doors or firewalls. The highly fire-retardant chipboard is particularly popular for use in public buildings and has the Wheelmark certificate that is often required for maritime applications.
