3 Win space Flexibility with sliding doors The trend towards sliding doors is unmistakable. More and more building contractors, property owners and tenants are deciding to use them in private homes as well as professionally in offices, hotels, hospitals, and wherever comfort, hygiene and barrier-free living are paramount. The space saved by the use of sliding doors is substantial, as the room required for opening an active leaf door is rendered unnecessary. There is a choice between manual and automatic opening and closing sliding doors. Automatic operators offer more comfort and hygiene in use. The fact that the door slides right into the wall provides a wide through-way for comfortable, barrier-free entry. The BOS product range LineaLine offers the right frame for all types of sliding doors and includes steel frames for sliding doors running in front of or into the wall as well as in the recess. LineaCompact is recommended for sliding doors running into the wall where a particularly fast installation is required. This sliding door frame is completely pre-mounted. The modular design allows for quick, safe and cost-effective installation. All sliding door frames are also available in large sizes for single or double doors. They are manufactured from steel or stainless steel and provided with a choice of powder coating, including an anti-bacterial option. The frames can be combined with any commercial door leaf from reputable manufacturers. 5 LineaOutside Solutions for sliding doors running in front of the wall LineaOutside offers solutions for sliding doors running in front of the wall. Sliding doors can increase the size of a room and connect, without the door leaf being in the way. LineaOutside can be installed together with the wall or in finished walls. The track case remains easily accessible for maintenance. All parts are easy to reach for cleaning which is particularly important in clinics. LineaOutside is additionally available with an automatic operator (E-version) or as a sealed closing design (D-version). 6 LineaLevel Solutions for sliding doors running in the recess These frames combine the advantages of sliding doors running in front of and in the wall. As the wall is narrower in the recess, no additional space for the door is required. All parts of the door are easily accessible for cleaning and maintenance. LineaLevel can be installed during wall construction or once the wall is finished. LineaLevel is also available with an automatic operator (E-version) or as a sealed closing design (D-version). 7 Linea Inside Solutions for sliding doors running in the wall When sliding doors are already scheduled in the planning phase, then the LineaInside version is ideal. For stud walls a wall thickness of 150mm is required and one of 175mm for brick walls. The sliding doors run into the wall cavity and therefore save a great deal of space. The room appears to be larger and the area in front of the wall is gained as additional floor space. 8 LineaCompact and LineaCompact-E Solutions for sliding doors running in the wall The complete solution: Quick and easy installation cost-effective and time-saving. LineaCompact is produced in a special modular design. It is completely pre-mounted with an integrated track case. It can be used in stud walls from a wall thickness of 100mm and in brick walls from 145mm. LineaCompact is available for all common door leaf measurements as well as for frameless glass doors. Both single and double door designs are available. The LineaCompact-E is equipped with the DORMA CS 80 MAGNEO automatic operator. The electric drive makes entering and leaving the room far easier for people with disabilities and on top of this offers a particularly high level of comfort. 9 LineaCompact-S Solutions for sliding doors running in the wall The profiles of the entry case are reinforced in the LineaCompact-S design. This enables the fixing of load-bearing elements on both sides of the wall, for example grab handles in bathrooms or hand rails in corridors etc. If there is a change in use, the elements can still be mounted, even years later. This solution can be used from a wall thickness of 125mm in stud walls and 145mm in brick walls. 10 LineaCompact-D Solutions for sliding doors running in the wall The sealed closing design LineaCompact-D is equipped with a seal on four sides. This effectively reduces draughts, odours and noise. LineaCompact-D is particularly suitable for use in kitchens, bathrooms and toilets. This solution can be used from a wall thickness of 125mm in stud walls and 145mm in brick walls. 11 LineaBox The universal sliding door case LineaBox is a one part sliding door case for sliding doors running in the wall. It is installed at the same time as the wall and can be universally used in combination with timber, aluminium or steel frames.
