This Bid Bulletin shall be noted as included on your proposals for the project. This Bid Bulletin No. 4 includes the following items. 1. Attached are the remaining combination Bid Forms and Scopes of Work. Bidders are to use the Bid Form/SOW s and attach clarifications as needed. 2. Notice: Addendum No. 5 is scheduled to be issued Friday, January 5, This addendum includes responses to substitution requests and questions. 3. 3 GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA (METAL WALL PANELS) METAL WALL PANELS Provide all labor, material, equipment, supervision, and other items necessary to complete the METAL WALL PANELS Work as required by the Contract Documents. Contract specifically includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: Division 00 Procurement & Contracting Requirements all Sections Division 01 General Requirements all Sections Division 07 Thermal & Moisture Protection Section Preformed Metal Panels complete Section Dry Joint Metal Panel Wall Systems - complete Section Exterior Joint Sealers (for own systems) Section Architectural Louvers - complete The work specifically includes, but is not limited to: 1. If a discrepancy is found within the plans, within the specifications, or between the plans and specifications, the subcontractor shall include in their bid the more stringent or more costly option. 2. Subcontractor to include as many trips or mobilizations needed in order to complete the project per the schedule which per the Subcontract Agreement can & will be modified from time to time. No additional mobilization charges will be allowed or considered. 3. Subcontractor to include cost for ordering metal wall panels WITHOUT waiting to obtain field measurements. Field measurements need to be kept at a minimum. 4. Furnish and install pre-finished metal wall panels and metal soffit panels. 5. Provide mock-ups for each specific system provided as indicated per specifications to demonstrate interface with other systems, including but not limited to: inside corner, outside corner, interface with other types of construction, windows, doors, etc. 6. Subcontractor to include fastening of all panels to the substrates indicated on the plans, meaning if the dry joint panels are shown to attach to sheathing but no wood backing is shown, this sub should plan on installing its own wood blocking, or attach panels via other methods, at no additional cost to the Owner or Sampson. 7. Furnish and install all joint sealers required to successfully complete this scope of work. 8. Provide isolation and proper fasteners where materials abut treated exterior wood blocking (ACQ lumber). 9. Subcontractor to plan that field measurements will not be available in time to order panels. Subcontractor should plan on ordering panels prior to the time field measurements are available. 10. Provide layout as necessary to complete this scope of work. 11. Subcontractor to include all loading/unloading of materials, hoisting, scaffolding, and swinging stages as required for this scope of work. 12. Clean-up daily and as needed directed by Chief/Sampson Superintendent. 13. Participate in a coordination effort with the fluid applied weather barrier installer to decide best method(s) to seal the fasteners used to install metal panel systems and coordinate with window related flashing and misc. penetrations. 14. Attendance of on-site progress meetings as required. 15. Protect adjacent work of other trades. 16. Provide any overtime needed to complete the work per the milestone schedule. 17. All bids must be valid for sixty (60) days after the bid date. This Scope of Work specifically excludes the following: 1. N/A. Page 2

Subcontractor to include as many trips or mobilizations needed in order to complete the project per the schedule which per the Subcontract Agreement can & will be modified from time to time. No additional mobilization charges will be allowed or considered. 4. Furnish and install all joint sealers required to successfully complete this scope of work. 5. Furnish and install all flashing required for aluminum windows, aluminum doors, curtainwalls, and storefronts. 6. Furnish and install Aluminum Doors and Frames, Metal-Framed Storefronts, All-Glass Entrances and Storefronts, Sliding Service Windows, Glazing, & Unframed Mirrors per above noted Spec Sections of the Project Manual. 7. Furnish and install all Glass & mirrors not specifically specified in Division 10 of the Project Manual. 8. Furnish and install any glass found in casework doors. 9. Provide isolation and proper fasteners where materials abut treated exterior wood blocking. 10. Furnish and install hardware for all items in this scope of work. 11. Furnish and install Door Hardware listed as to be provided by aluminum door supplier in Specification Section Furnish and install all interior glazing including, but not limited to, glass within casework. 13. Furnish and install automatic door openers, complete installation of all components to make the doors function, meaning this contractor to take the work from the power supply down to each hardware component, including the wiring, terminations, and testing of doors to ensure 100% proper operation. 14. Furnish and install mock-ups for both aluminum storefronts and curtain wall systems for water testing. Mock-up to include glazing, flashing, and caulking. Re-work window mock-up as necessary until it passes water test. 15. Subcontractor to conduct water test on all exterior windows to be witnessed by Construction Manager and will troubleshoot & resolve leaks as they occur. 16. Include all necessary flashings to ensure aluminum window systems will work with adjacent materials regardless of whether flashings are shown or not. 17. Subcontractor to include cost for ordering aluminum composite panels WITHOUT waiting to obtain field measurements. Field measurements need to be kept at a minimum. 18. Provide mock-ups for each specific system provided as indicated per specifications to demonstrate interface with other systems, including but not limited to: inside corner, outside corner, interface with other types of construction, windows, doors, etc. 20. Participate in a coordination effort with the fluid applied weather barrier installer to decide best method(s) to seal the fasteners used to install aluminum composite systems and coordinate with window related flashing and misc. penetrations. 21. Include loading/unloading, hoisting, scaffolding, and swinging stages as necessary to complete this scope of work. 22. Temporary protection of installed Work. 23. Provide layout necessary to complete this scope of work. 24. Provide offsite storage for materials until they can be installed. 25. Clean-up daily and as directed by Chief/Sampson Superintendent. 26. Final adjustment of aluminum doors and windows. 27. Removal of all labels and cleaning of all glass surface upon substantial completion of the project, for both interior & exterior applications. 28. Attendance of on-site progress meetings as required. 29. Provide pricing options, unit pricing, and allowances as they apply to this scope of work. 30. Coordinate all work with other trades. 31. Protect adjacent work of other trades. 32. Provide any overtime needed to complete the work per the milestone schedule. 33. All bids must be valid for sixty (60) days after the bid date. This Scope of Work specifically excludes the following: 1. Main Structural supports, however this contractor should include the steel necessary if a curtain wall needs a mid-height support back to the structure. The clips &/or fasteners are to be included. 2. Protection of materials after installation. 3. Sill flashing unless shown in the drawings. 4. Framed Mirrors that are by Division Demolition General 1. Final clean floor prior to performing minor floor prep and installing flooring including, but not limited to, removing excess drywall taping compound, dirt, dust, oil, etc. 8. Routing and caulking of cracks 1/16 or wider and caulking of non-moving joints up to 1 with backer rod and sealant as required per specifications. 9. Includes minor floor preparation and patching to complete this scope of work. 10. Furnish owners stock and warranties per Contract Documents. 11. Clean-up daily and as needed directed by Chief/Sampson Superintendent. 12. Attendance of on-site progress meetings as required. 13. Coordinate work with other trades. 14. Subcontractor will be responsible for completing the pre punchlist. b) Final Punchlist Finishes: After completing the final pre punchlist, Chief/Sampson will conduct a final punchlist with the Architect, Engineers, and Owner. Subcontractor will be responsible for completing the final punchlist. This Scope of Work specifically excludes the following: 1. Ceramic Tile flooring. 2. Tile Base. 3.
