This enhances the ability to deliver superior performance products, heavily improves the effectiveness of the development process and assures the optimal control of each production step. 5 PRODUCTION PROCESS PHASES Paper is the heart of masking tape production but every effort would be useless without an effective technological process. Pulp preparation (Pulper) SATURATION Vibac, differently from many competitors, manages internally the entire saturation process. Saturation is a critical process for masking tape production. This phase gives raw paper the required mechanical performances, bleeding resistance and other specific features as Waterproof, UV resistance and easy unwinding. Thanks to the complete control of this process, Vibac is able to produce tapes that are thinner, with better finishing lines and more resistant when applied and removed. Paper web formation Pressing and drying station COATING During the coating phase, a premium Natural rubber adhesive is coated to the saturated paper, producing a real masking tape. This phase boosts Vibac ability in formulating adhesives with specific features as resistance to high temperatures (including IR backing), the possibility to apply the tape under direct sunlight (UVR) or the possibility to use our tapes in cold environments. Vibac distinctive process permits to produce masking tapes that hold perfectly on every surface but at the same time are easy to be removed, without leaving any residue and always offering very sharp lines. Thickness automatic control CONVERTING AND PACKAGING Vibac runs high automation converting and packaging machineries which permit to produce and pack single rolls and to deliver them worldwide.
