Cirrus the light weight solution for fl at roofs is ideal when the roof skin should not be perforated and where the roof cannot withstand the loads of ballasting. 4 Mounting Systems. The Energetik Mounting System Only a stable mounting system can guarantee a durable and future proof return on capital. That s why we developed a montage system which fulfi ls the highest quality requirements and is simple to assemble. All mounting systems and components conform to DIN 1055 and are fully TUV tested to assure quality of design and fi tness for purpose. To safely accommodate snow and wind loading, we exclusively use 6mm solid stainless steel screws and bolts which are selected specifi cally for the roof type and structure. The double C rail supporting frame is of high quality aluminium and forms a solid cross structure for maximum mechanical stability. Kits are accompanied by full assembly instructions, including layout drawing so that the system can be quickly and easily assembled on site. Before the system can be designed and installed, it is necessary that we have dimensions, loads, boundary conditions and local information. 5 Components: Montage system The Assembly The Easy Bit! All components of our mounting systems are matched to custom fi t the roof, which minimises the risk and uncertainty of installation and reduces on site time. You can receive the complete Energetik system as a ready to install kit, or as separate components. We plan and supply all components so it goes together quickly and effortlessly on the roof. Even junction and fi xing elements are pre-assembled. 6 Quality, which pays off. The Modules We only use the highest quality modules, because the modules must deliver high power over many years to pay for the system. All of our modules are selected for durability and high effi ciency over a prolonged life span. They are subject to the toughest of test conditions. 7 Components: Modules and inverters Inverters and Electrics The inverters control and manage the whole installation. They transform the DC current delivered by the modules into 240VAC which is used by domestic appliances and can be fed into the mains. We use exclusively 6mm DC cabling to connect the modules to the inverters. The cables have excellent resistance to weather, UV and ozone. They are hydrolysis resistant. Inverters can select the optimum current to draw from the panels to ensure maximum effi ciency of the panels (MPPT). They come with a 5-7 tear warranty as standard. Dependent on application and location we can recommend from Sunny Boy (SMA) or Solar Max (Sputnik Engineering). The inverters are net coupled, meaning that they are allowed to be connected to the grid.

8 Where the sun shines. Tiled and Pantiled Roofs The Energetik mounting system can be built on any roof type. Most tiled and pantiled roofs are particularly suited for photovoltaic installation, because they have a good angle of inclination to the sun. 8 9

9 Montage system for tiled roofs Made to Measure Our 6mm Stainless steel roof hooks are pre-formed according to the requirements of the roof so that the tiles will not be damaged. The modules are attached with clamps after the support system has been assembled. The system is also suitable for slate, tegalit and plain tiles.

10 Fibre, Corrugared Sheets and Metal. Metal and Fibre Cement Corrugated Roofs Fibre cement corrugated roofs and metal roofs can be fi tted quickly and accurately with photovoltaic modules. Uneven roofs aren t a problem as the double C rail system is forms a solid, fl at bed for the panels to rest upon. When the inclination is less than 15 degrees, we recommend additional elevation to maximise capture of the sun s radiation

11 Montage system for Tin roofs and fibrecement-corrugated sheets Quick Assembly The mounting system is simplicity itself. A pre-assembled stair bolt is fi xed to the main roof structure with a sealing cap, and a retaining clamp to hold the rail. The C rails are then fi tted to this structure.

12 The Right Angle. Roofs with Low Inclination A photovoltaic installation can also be profi table on roofs with an inclination lower than 15 degrees. The Energetik system allows the panels to be elevated to the correct elevation whatever the angle with maximum stability and solidity

13 Mounting system for roofs with low inclination The Right Angle Stainless steel brackets offer any angle with 5 degree steps, allowing the modules to be brought to the correct angle. The precise angle which optimises roof angle, self shading and mechanical stability is determined and the panels can be set to this angle.

14 Always after the sun. Roofs with North South Ridges Systems with north south orientated ridges have roof surfaces facing east/west. Often regarded as unsuitable for solar, Energetik has the perfect solution. Providing the angle of the roof is no greater than 25 degrees, our mounting systems can achieve good yields from these roofs. We will be more than pleased to advise. Please contact us

15 Mounting system for roofs with ridge course north south A Great Solution The Energetik mounting system is placed on the roof with a stable retaining plate so that the panel can be elevated to the correct angle at 90 degrees to the ridge. The modules have an inclination of 20 to 25 degrees and have suffi cient distance to avoid self shading.

16 A strong platform. Flat Roofs with a Heavy Load All flat roofs are suitable for photovoltaic systems For flat roofs which can support heavy loads we offer a weighted aluminium framework. It is suitable even where extreme wind loads occur and no roof penetration is necessary

17 Mounting system for flat roofs with heavy load Consolidated hold The existing roof skin is protected with protective matting. Panels are brought to the exact elevation using special brackets. Concrete weights are then placed on the frame or directly on to the brackets to give the correct stability.

18 Cirrus The new lightweight solution. Flat roofs with low load Cirrus is the lightweight photovoltaic system for fl at roofs which have low weight carrying capability. The patented mounting system works aerodynamically, developing downwards lift to hold the panels onto the roof. Static loads are reduced by up to 90% compared with other systems. Cirrus is appropriate for wind zones 1-3 without further weighting and without need to penetrate the roof skin

19 Mounting system for flat roofs with low load Cirrus Sets the Standard Cirrus allows photovoltaic installation on less robust roofs which, until now was not possible. This allows new possibilities for flat roof buildings.
