CH&N has its roots in residential neighborhood building, where design, value, and adding to a sense of place have helped us to build the expertise and disciplines required to lead the industry for nearly 20 years. Our expertise in doing this has gained us awards and recognition from our peers in the industry, thru quality work and the great people that define our team.

Our firm is different than many others, having developed a team of in house professionals that bring skills and the ability to quickly and seamlessly work together to generate better ideas and planning to ensure project objectives are met. We can provide some, or all, of these disciplines to you to deliver what you need. Architecture. Our team of architects and designers brings experience in site planning, program evaluation and analysis, and building design. We have designed residential, multifamily, civic, active adult, and mixed-use buildings. We ve demonstrated that better design is timeless and is created by being more thoughtful and creative with whatever the budget provides. Site Design. You don t add any value with what you bury in the ground. We believe site improvements should function to meet ordinances, designed to be an amenity, or deleted from the plan. Our expertise in site design, infrastructure evaluation, and value engineering provide a great opportunity to save money or invest it in a way to make what is being built better, and we have the professionals to do it. From conceptual stages we will bring our experienced project managers and estimators along with architects together as one team to make every dollar spent an investment rather than an expense. Site Construction. Our team can self perform site improvement work to get the project up faster and for less. We ve learned to build things faster and better, and know that sitework provides an opportunity to help us do that. With a complete fleet of equipment and experienced professionals, we can eliminate many of the surprises that often are encountered in the construction process. Building Construction. Our master builders provide expertise, communication, and oversight to make sure that the original design intent and budget for any building project are delivered as promised. We understand also that details, and how construction is executed, can make the difference between the ordinary and what others will recognize as more valuable. Marketing and Sales Support. From conceptual imaging to onsite model merchandising to signage, we can provide marketing and sales support you may require to make any project more successful. Development. Our team of experts in development and approval can help provide some or all activities to strategize, plan, and execute the process of gaining jurisdictional approvals and permits for development projects.

6 HOMESTEAD VILLAGE HOMESTEAD VILLAGE RETIREMENT COMMUNITY Lancaster, Pennsylvania Conceptual Planning Design Homestead Village requested a design/build concept for a high density retirement community that would provide a variety of housing options that would support comprehensive lifecare options allowing residents to age in place. The concept plan submitted provided for 44 units per acre configured in 4-story building with 32 units per building and integrated parking below grade.

7 CEDAR RIDGE AT TEL HAI CEDAR RIDGE AT TEL HAI RETIREMENT COMMUNITIES Honey Brook, Pennsylvania Architecture Building Construction This retirement cottage project consisted of 23 homes constructed in 6 months. Streetscape with architecture, coordination of buyer selections and on-time delivery were keys to its success.

8 WILLOW GABLES WILLOW GABLES Willow Street, Pennsylvania Life Care Attached Cottages Architecture Building Construction Sales Marketing Support This unique project provided 80 custom finished life care cottages for residents. CH&N managed the needs and requests of those who would be living there.

9 CHARTER COLORS CHARTER COLORS Lancaster, Pennsylvania Retail/Office Architecture Building Construction This 4,500SF showroom space was designed and built to showcase finishes for homebuyers as they make their design decisions.

10 FLORIN HILL FLORIN HILL Mount Joy, Pennsylvania Site Planning Development Architecture Site Construction Building Construction This master planned neighborhood is the first true Traditional Neighborhood in Central PA, it includes 472 living units, significant public spaces, and over 60,000SF of leasable office and retail space on 62 acres of land.

11 WEST OF MARKET Lancaster, Pennsylvania Mixed Use Building Site Planning Architecture This design for a mixed use building in Downtown Lancaster includes 16 apartments, indoor parking for 16 cars, and 6,000SF of mixed use retail or office.

12 FLORIN HILL APARTMENTS FLORIN HILL APARTMENTS Mount Joy, Pennsylvania Site Planning Architecture Site Construction Building Construction This apartment complex showcases CH&N s ability to combine good design and a tight budget. Not wanting to look like every other apartment project while being able to charge premium rents, these buildings combine floorplans for today with garages and hidden parking to achieve one of the highest unit densities in the region with wood frame construction.

13 MILLCREEK MILLCREEK NEIGHBORHOOD BUILDING West Lampeter, Pennsylvania Architecture Building Construction This 12,000SF building was designed and built to complement an existing bank barn, so the scale of the building and the detailing to make it fit were significant considerations as well as its programming for a general store and meeting space.
