2 D. Common Excavation (Bid Item No. 3) 1. Description: Provide common excavation material removal. The lump sum amount for this item shall include full compensation for cost of excavating common excavation material to elevations as indicated on drawings, and hauling off-site and legally disposing of removed common excavation materials; stripping and removal of topsoil; cleanup; and all incidental work related to common excavation not specifically included in other unit prices. As an incidental cost to this Item, the subgrade shall be established and proof roll(s) completed as directed by the Engineer until acceptance is achieved. Any undercutting will only be completed after subgrade is established and proof role is completed. Appendix 5 Standard Detail Drawings ADD at the end of the Project Manual after Appendix 4: Appendix 5 Standard Detail Drawings, in their entirety to the Project Manual as attached to this Addendum No. One.
