6 SKYLITE Warranty According to different requirements of weather resistance, TR can supply three kinds of products with different warranty for choosing: 10 years (SKYLITE Fireproof Grade Ⅱ, SKYLITE PET), 15 years(skylite Fireproof Grade I), 25 years(skylite 055, SKYLITE301). Roof half- lengthways Skylight Roof Lengthways Skylight Ridge Light Requirement(Lighting proportion, FRP sheet layout) Clients may choose FRP sheet of different light transmittance by different light requirements in workplaces. It is suggested that lighting proportion be 10%- 25% and lengthways lighting from ridge to eaves. The light transmittance of FRP sheet is 50%-90% (to be choosed by different requirements). While lighting proportion is about 10%, Illumination can reach above lex. Wind and Snow Bearing Capacity FRP sheet with different thickness has different mechanical properties. We can supply such thickness as 1.0mm, 1.2mm, 1.5mm and 2.0mm. Selecting FRP sheet of different thickness and adjusting distance between roof purline can adapt different wind and snow bearing capacity in different areas. Generally, 1.5mm thick FRP sheet can match 1.5m long purline distance and its wind bearing capacity can reach above 1kpa. Installation and Water Proof (Referring to overlapping joint drawing) (1) Corrugated FRP sheet is matched with metal sheet on lapping. Its installation & lapping is more convenient and waterproofing is better than PC sheet. (2) FRP sheet with steel edges can achieve same effects as metal sheet, which is more convenient for lapping with corrugated metal sheet and waterproofing is very good.

7 FRP Sheet Installation FRP sheet installation must pay attention to following: The waves of both sides of FRP should be lapped over color steel board. A long waterproofing sticky belt should be installed on the outer side of longitudinal lapping waves or wave crest. For crosswise lapping, lapping length is not less than 200mm. And water -proofing sticky belt should be installed on two ends of lapping parts respectively. After setting fixing nails into waterproofing cushion ring, you may drive nails into purline or fix support. Suggest applying copper silicon glue on nail driving place. Suggest setting up U buckling strip if FRP assumes angle shape. waterproofing Color Steel Plate - SKYLITE Purline Common Lapping Methods I. Recommended Methods There are two common lapping methods, lengthways lapping from ridge to eaves and half lengthways lapping from ridge to mid of purline. If lighting rate can t meet indoor lighting requirements, we can increase quantity (increase lighting area) or install FRP sheet on side wall. D.On the high spot of roofing, particularly on the terminal of the roof where there are such peaks as rails and parapet,rainwater may accumulate in such places and overflow onto the rib of FRP sheet. E. For great span installation, when roofing withstands frequent vibration, the rainwater might deposit. In such case, double wave crest lapping, special side waterproofing cover plate or silicon glue for waterproofing should be taken into consideration. II. Not recommended Methods FRP sheet is heat solidified material. It s impossible to make it absolutely matched with metal sheet. So water leakage tends to occur from imprecise lapping in the lengthways lapping places, especially for profiles of angle 1800 and 3600 with erecting overlocking. It is hard to prevent water leakage if use spot lapping like opening skylight. ( as picture 1/2) If FRP sheet is laid too widely, it will be easy to be broken by step while workers are installing, which causes cracked FRP sheet and even accident. Especially when FRP sheet with steel sides are joined together, Joining machine can t directly press on the FRP sheet, so it will cause impossible installation and high cost even FRP sheet may be broken. We can solve this problem by adding FRP sheet at intervals of metal sheet.
