2 SECTION (1) EXCAVATION BACKFILLING AND SITE WORKS BILL NO.1: EXCAVATION BACKFILLING & SITE WORKS General: 1. Excavation for foundation, trenches. Etc. shall be the actual dimensions shown on Drawings, and to be measured from Natural Ground Level or Reduced Level (which is lower), i.e. From Reduced Level when R. L. is lower than N. G. L. From N. G. L. when N. G. L. is lower than the Reduced Level. 2. Allowance for working space is not applicable, unless it is clearly specified in the Special Conditions. 3. Excavation for foundation of retaining walls is to be measured from Lower Reduced level, or from lower Natural Ground level (as stated in Item 1 above.) 4. Price to include removal of site obstacles, rocks, trees and all debris from site. Price also to include maintaining all trees that are not obstructing the buildings, boundary walls, courts and roads. 5. Each layer of back filling shall be tested separately, on the contractor's expense, prior to applying the next layer. 6. Co-ordination with all local authorities to facilitate the works, removal of obstacles or for diversion of roads, services, etc. is the contractor's responsibility and are deemed to be included in his rates. 7. Excavated soil shall be classified and retained, to back fill with suitable soil and to place agricultural soil where needed and as shown in the drawings and as instructed by the Engineer. The extra and unsuitable soil shall be removed, on the contractor s expense with no extra cost. 8. Prior to commencement of site leveling or any excavation, the Contractor shall obtain Engineer s written approval on the contour map, checked jointly by the contractor and the Engineer, the excavation profiles and sections showing all levels and dimensions, and the calculations of excavation quantities. 9. Excavation shall be in Cubic Volume, the net measurements of the excavated elements as shown on the drawings. allowance shall be made for increase in bulk after excavation. 10. Hard Core beds shall be of not less than 15 cm thick and shall be measured in Meter Square, (the net measurement of the finished surface). extra rate shall be paid for Leveling, ramming and filling of voids under the hard core. 11. Rate of Excavation shall include: Removal of top agricultural soil containing roots and organic materials, up to 75cm deep. Excavation to any depth, in any shape, in any type of soil, below water table level and keeping excavation free of water. Leveling, ramming, trimming and grading excavation bottoms. Planking and strutting. Cost of lab. Tests of works and materials.

3 ITEM DESCRIPTION Section (1) EXCAVATION, BACKFILLING & SITE WORKS 1.01 Site leveling. (excavation of all Site including external works). cut and/or fill in any kind of soil, concrete, or asphalt; to the required levels approved by the engineer (reduced level). Excavate and cut to the reduced level. Including scraping of top soil and removal of extra unsuitable soil, debris and organic material. Price shall include backfilling withsuitable excavated or imported soil where required, that shall be applied on layers, 20 cm thick, watered and compactedto95%accordingtomodifiedaashto density test t-80. M.C Excavation for Piles in any kind of soil, to the dimensions and levels shown in the drawings. price to include removal of extra and unsuitable soil.. M.R Supply and well compact hard core pitching under Slab on Grade (S.O.G). Average 25 cm. thick, price to include soil leveling, watering and compacting to M.S % according to field density test to soil under hard core. (Or base coarse) Total of EXCAVATION, BACKFILLING & SITE WORKS Section (2): CONCRETE WORKS Rates of Concrete Works shall include: 1.all form works and shuttering in any form, shape and size. making chamfered and curved edges, allowing for and making grooves and sleeves and the like; removal of forms and cleaning of all exposed tie wires and rods; making good the harmed surfaces and edges and all surface finishing. 2. supplying, casting, vibrating and curing as per specifications. 3. approved additives and admixtures. 4. incurred costs on concrete mix designs, sample taking, testing and providing test results certificates, storing and saving of samples, and preparation of bar bending schedules and workshops. 5. supplying reinforcement of any grade, size and length as detailed in the drawings, storing on site including cutting, bending and fixing in position and providing all tying wires, spacers, shop drawings, testing and bar bending schedules 6. painting of exposed surfaces of underground reinforced concrete elements with two coats of Latix Bituminus Paint. supply of polyethylene sheets under ground slabs. (500 microns) 7. steel bars used for alignment and fixing of reinforcement works, and extra steel added to assure proper detailing and safety.

4 measurement of concrete elements shall be the net dimensions as detailed in the drawings. all recesses, openings and voids shall be deducted. measurement shall be only for the seen surfaces of elements, overlapping and measuring items twice under separate headings shall not be allowed.slabs are measured in meter square from centerline of external masonry walls supply and cast plain concrete (grade B15 ): blinding under foundations and piles cap. M.S. 40 Total 2.02 Supply and Cast Reinforced Concrete Grade B30 for piles according to drawing and as directed by MC. 65 supervision engineer ditto but B 30 for piles cape and stair foundation. M.C supply and cast reinforced concrete grade B 25 for slabs on hard core, Including surface leveling, finishing, polyethylene sheets 500 micron. a. ten (10) cm thick slab. M.S Supply and cast fair face reinforced concrete Grade B 30 for columns. M.C Supply and cast fair face reinforced concrete grade B 25 for suspended slabs. a. for 15 cm. solid slab. M.S. 30 b. for 25 cm. solid slab. M.S Supply and cast fair face from two sides reinforced concrete grade B25 for walls. M.C Apply two coats of waterproofing cementious polymer to the internal walls of the tank and the soffitof the roof slab. Material to be suitable for use in contact MS 500 with potable water 2.10 Leakage test of the water tank according to Specifications. L.S Apply two protective coats to the external surfaces of the tank of Akrilic Water Based Palstic Paint M.S 550 resistant to sunlight and the effects of weather. Totals 2.12 Pumping station room : L.S. 1 All the following shall be according to the techinical specification, drawings and as directed by supervision engineers. a. Siteleveling to the required level,excavation for foundation and backfilling with suitable material to the level shown on drawings, also it include copacted layer of 15 cm thick basecoarse b. Blinding lean concrete 10cm thick for foundation and ground beams

5 c. reinforce concrete grade B25 for foundations, tie beams, walls, slabes, roof parapete and slabe on grade 10 cm thick. d. plastering two coats for internal and painting with emulsion and ployscede also plastering two coats and coat of shabris for external walls e. water proofing which include painting three coats of bitumin for foundations and footing also including supply and apply water proofing memrane of bitumin rolls 405mm thick with over lap 10cm for the roof and roof parapete. f. Steel doors,aluminume windows,steel protections fordoors and windows and all its accessorise and paints according to drawings. g. All mechanical and electrical works which relates to the room as shown on drawings. h. Water trench with dimention 120*30*50 cm. Grill cover cast iron 8 ton discharge 4'' UPVC Totals 2.13 Steel Stair L.S. 1 All works shall be according to technical specification, drawings and as directed by supervision engineers. a. Prepare and erect steel stairs, price shall to include cutting, welding, painting four layers ( two primer coats and two final coats ) and installation. Also, it include gate for stair case, protection and fence around the stair from the foundation until the top of the shaft in the reservior,and also all works and materials that relate to the steel stair from foundation until the top of the shaft b. supply,fix and painting internal ladder from top of shaft to the roof. c. supply, fix and painting internal ladder from top of shaft to bottom of reservior. Totals Total of CONCRETE WORKS Section (3) : MISCELLANOUS WORKS 3.01 Supply,Installing, welding and fixing of all pipes and fittings needed, (including inlet, outlet, washoutand over flow pipes, stop valves, check valve,tees, elbows,redusers,.etc.). starting from the original ground level up to top and in side of the tank. The price shall include the supplying of the materials and casting concrete blocks under the fittings and the protection of the end of the washout pipe as specifid and shown on drawings. L.S Supply, instalation and paint ( three coats) for the steel cover of the opening in the roof with aheavy duty lock as specifid and according to the drawings.. 1

6 3.03 Supply, instalation and paint ( three coats) of the ventilation pipes as specifid and according to the. 2 drawings Supply, instalation of P.V.C. water stop ( min. 18cm wide & 5mm thick) to be placed at construction joints according to specifications and engineers directions. M.L Supply, instalation and paint ( three coats) of the water level indicator as specifid and according to the drawings Supply, instalation and paint ( three coats) of the handrail around the roof as specifid and according to M.L. 35 the drawings. Total of MISCELLANOUS WORKS Section (4) : ELECTRICAL WORKS PREAMBLE: Price to include submittal and obtaining approval of shop drawings, detailed and as-built drawings for all works as well as coordinating the same with the other services, activities and furniture. Price to also include, submittal of catalogues and manufacturer instruction. Fixtures and appliances shall be measured in number. Supply and feeder Cables, cable conduits and cable trays shall be measured in linear meter. Manholes, handholds and the like shall be measured in number. All Systems and devices shall be in lump sum including installation, testing and commissioning. Rates of fixtures and appliances shall include installation, wiring, switches and conduit works Supply, Install and Connect Main Distribution Board. (MDB). Price to include panel board, fuses, molded case circuit breakers MCCB, miniature circuit breaker MCB with minimum breaking capacity of 6 K.A., bus bars, volts & amps. Measuring instruments, KWHM L.S. 1 and all accessories as per drawings and specifications. Price also to include PVC conduitto accommodate, with all necessary works Supply, Install and Connect Feeder Lines. a. Main feeder line from outside Elec. Pole to MDB. M.R. 50 shown on the drawings. (3*25+1*16mm²). N EARTHING SSTEMS: Supply, Install and Connect a complete Earthing System composed of: L.S. 1

Two (2) OHM ground resistance, including the connection of this system to the MDB by suitable cable and including plates, rods, excavation, back filling of all pits to obtain the required resistance, and including an inspection pit (Manhole) with medium duty cast iron cover, and all the accessories as per drawing and specifications. Grounding Resistance to be measured at MDB. b. Foundation Earthing System as specified. c. Earthing link to connect main water line to earthing bus bar in MDB. d. Earthing manhols and boxes. e. Main busbar in MDB LIGHTNING PROTECTION SSTEM Supply, Install and Connect a complete Earthning System as specifid and according to the drawings, with all necessary works Supply, Install, connect and test Floodlight unit 250W HPS. Wall mounted weatherproof type. Price to include all connections and switches wiring and all L.S. NO. 1 6 accessories required as per drawings and approved workshops Supply, Install, connect and teststand by Generator Set 40KVA. Price to include all connections and switches, wiring,daly tank, ATS, Batterys, MCCB L.S. 1 Exsost system and all accessories requiredin weathar and sound proof container. Total of ELECTRICAL WORKS Section (5): PLUMBING, SANITAR & PREAMBLE: Rates of all fittings, fixtures, appliances and pipe laying shall include: Supply of material, workmanship, installation, testing and commissioning. Rates to include also all peace s and fittings, including by passes, floats, cleaning outlets, automatic vents, vents and stack covers, valves and non return valves and the like needed to complete works as per specifications. Insulation and painting as called for in specifications. Excavation and cutting for all pipe laying works, bedding back filling and all works connected with pipe laying. All ties, sleeves, joints, tie bolts and rods, brackets and the like. Rates to include Workshops, Coordinated and as-built drawings as approved by the Engineer.

8 NOTES : All materials,equipment,fittings,and pipes needed here shall be supplied by the contractor.he shall also supply all documents,catalogs,characteristic curves,and specifications of the pumps,motor and control mechanical and electrical control devices Supplying and installing in the site of work the following pump: NO. 2 An electrical (Horizontal or Vertical ) pump of capacity 50m3/hr and totaldelivery head of 40m. The rotation speed of the pump shall be 1450 rpm The pump shall be certrifugal of standard construction and efficiency not less than (70%) with an electrical motor of suitable power,1450rpm,50hz,380v and power factor not less than 0.9 include pump control board as per drawings. a. The pump and the driving motor shall be fixed on a rigid common steel frame and adjusted togother by suitable flexible coupling. b. The pump shall be supplied with suitable inlet and outlet flanges with necessary gaskets bolts and screws Supply materials and casting a concrete foundation for the pumps set height 70cm (20cm out of them is above the ground) width and length are according to the dimentions of the pumping unit to be supply,and excuting all necessary,the concrete to be casted is B25. 10 Totals of PLUMBING, SANITAR & MECHANICAL WORKS Section (6): EXTERNAL WORKS PREAMBLE Measurement, rates and specification of all external works shall comply with the works stated in previous sections. Curbstone shall be measured in linear meter. Asphalt works shall be in net square meter. Basecourse works shall be in net square meter. Play yards fixtures and things shall be measured in number whereas painting of play yard shall be as lump sum. Rates of Curbstone works shall include: Excavation in all kinds of soils including rocks, concrete and asphalt. Supply and cast of blinding concrete as per Specifications. Struts. Laying curbstones including mortar. Backfilling, leveling, watering and compacting, Pointing and grouting. Lowering curbs at entrances and ramps and where requested by the Engineer. Rates of asphalt and basecourse works shall include: Leveling, watering and compacting of sub grade. Spreading, leveling, watering and compacting the base course to receive asphalt, Supply and apply asphalt concrete, Spreading by using Finisher, Compacting. Trimming, cutting and making good around edges, openings, corners and trenches. All required sampling and testing Site leveling. (excavation of all Site including external works). cut and/or fill in any kind of soil, concrete, or asphalt; to the required levels approved by the engineer (reduced level). Back filling shall be on layers of 200 mm thick with watering and compacting to (95%) to comply with modified AASHTO F.D.T. (T- 80) M.C. 75

11 6.03 Blinding lean concrete 10 cm thick grade B15 under Foundations of walls ground beams, etc. and all related works, price to include curing. M.S Reinforced Cast in place Concrete Grade B 25 For Boundary walls, and where ever needed, price to include three coats of water proofing on faces exposed to earth. a. RC for Foundations, Footings, Tie Beams...etc. and as where directed by the engineer and as shown M.C. 16 in details. b. RC for pedestals and boundary walls including Columns if any. M.C Apply Cement and Sand Plaster, Two coats over one slurry coat to walls and where required, including metal lath of any shapes and sizes as approved by the engineer, plaster beads, plaster corner and stops, and a fourth coat (shabriss) Topping. For External walls. Price to include waterproof additives. M.S Supply and well compact granular crushed stone for Base course. Thickness shall be 20 cm in two layers 15cm each, after compacting to 100% according to Modified AASHTO Density Test (CT 180). M.S Supply and Apply Asphalt Concrete, by using finisher in accordance with general specifications. Wearing Course (5) cm. thick, after compacting. Price to include Supplying and Applying Liquid Asphalt M.S. 400 Prime Coat (Grd. MC. 70). 1.2 Kg per square meter approximates Supply and Fix Main Entrance Steel Gates. Sashes are framed by (80*40*2) mm Steel Tube for edges & partitions. Covered with 2 mm thick steel sheeting for the lower part. Protection grill of the upper part shall be of Sec. (14*14 mm) solid steel. Price to include cylindrical locks, ironmonger, hinges, three coats of oil paint on two coats of primer coat, and all related works as per drawings, specifications and supervisor engineer. a. Type SD-4 NO Supply and install galvanized steel wire mesh fence Ø2.5mm of standard 4*4cm spacing using Ø2 and Ø4 galvanized steel pipes, complete with all M.R. 65 concrete supports and all necessary fittings and wiring as per drawings and specifications.
