2 PERFORMANCE TEST REPORT Rendered to: ALL-WEATHER INSULATED PANELS 929 Aldridge Road Vacaville, California Report No.: Test Date: 08/03/07 Report Date: 08/28/07 Expiration Date: 08/03/11 Project Summary: Architectural Testing, Inc. was contracted by ALL-WEATHER INSULATED PANELS to inspect the manufacturing facility in Vacaville, California and perform testing on a Series/Model SM40 Insulated Sandwich Wall Panel system. Test specimen description and results are reported herein. The samples were provided by the client. Test Methods: The test specimen was evaluated in accordance with the following: ASTM E , Test Method for Determining Rate of Airflow Through Exterior Windows, Curtain Walls and Doors Under Specified Pressure Differences Across the Specimen. ASTM E , Test Method for Water Penetration of Exterior Windows, Curtain Walls and Doors by Uniform Static Air Pressure Difference. Plant Inspection: On 07/12/07, a representative from Architectural Testing, Inc visited the manufacturing facility in Vacaville, California during a maintenance shut-down. The manufacturing process was reviewed and production equipment examined. The material for test specimens had been produced earlier and were stacked on skids (See Photos 1 through 4) Test Specimen Description: Series/Model: SM40 Product Type: Insulated Sandwich Wall Panel Panel Description: The panels were constructed of pre-painted 26 gage G-90 galvanized or AZ50 steel facings with CFC-free foamed-in-place polyisocyanurate foam insulation core, 2.2 to 2.5 pcf density. The panel edges utilized an offset double "S" shaped self-aligning tongue-and-groove joint configuration E. Jensen Ave Fresno, CA phone: fax:

Installation: A test buck was fabricated from Douglas fir 2 x 8 lumber with 2 x 4 wood stops attached to the inside perimeter. A panel was set from the exterior onto the stops and secured with one #8 x 3" drywall screw at each corner. A bead of non-skinning butyl sealant was applied to fill the exterior groove in the exposed edge of the installed panel. The next panel was engaged into the interlock, pushed into place, and secured to the stops with one #8 x 3" drywall screw at each exposed corner. The third panel installed in the same manner. The perimeter of the panel assembly was sealed to the test buck with NP1 sealant. The entire assembly was allowed to cure outside for one week prior to testing. (See Photos 5 through 9) Test Results: The temperature during testing was 82 F. The results are tabulated as follows: Test Method Title of Test Results ASTM E 283 Air 6.27 psf <0.01 cfm/ft 2 ASTM E 547 and E 331 Water 12.0 psf No leakage Drawing Reference: The test specimen drawings have been reviewed by Architectural Testing, Inc. and are representative of the test specimen reported herein.
