2 ANNEXURE-I Sub: Pre-qualification of vendors for Precision Machining Jobs. The details of components covered, MOC, Heat Treatment & Other requirements etc. are as given below: Component/equipment made out of bar stock/forgings/castings covered under Precision Machining jobs. Components which require precision machining for maintaining quality parameters, i.e., tolerances, surface finish etc. are covered under this category. This category includes the following: - Shafts:- Vertical Shaft of Bowl Mill, Shafts of Crusher / P.A. Fan / R.C. Feeders / Exhauster / I.D. & F.D. Fans/ Vertical & Horizontal pumps. - Crank Shaft:- Crank Shaft of reciprocating compressors and reciprocating pumps. - Plunger for reciprocating Pumps. - Turbine Spares:- Spindles for steam control valves, Spares for Hyd. Turbine. - Pump Spares:- Barrel for Pumps, Spares of Ammonia Pump / Feed Pump / Transfer Pump, Spares for Sealing Water Pumps of Carbamate Pumps, Spares for carbamate / Ammonia / Centrifugal / Reciprocating / Vertical Pump / Acid Pump, Gear Pump Assembly for Urea Pumps, Ammonia Feed Pump Blocks, Spares for CT pump / Urea pump, GV Pump, Stuffing Box Barrel for Pumps. - Valve Spares. - Bushing/Sleeves:- Shaft Bushing & Spacer Sleeves etc. for Pumps. - Other Misc. 3 MOC for such material:- The different materials of construction for the procurement of above components are Carbon Steel, Nodular Cast Iron, different types of Stainless Steel, Alloy Steel and Nonferrous materials. In case usage of special Alloy Material of imported origin, Country of Origin and importer's/dealer's name (wherever necessary) in India are to be certified by the party. Special Treatment:- The components may require Hardening, Nitriding, Annealing, case carburizing, Nickelchrome plating, Material spray, solution annealing, Tungsten carbide coating etc. 3rd party Inspection:- Third party inspection may be required on the components as per NIT and QAP has to get approved from NFL, wherever specified. 4 ANNEXURE-II ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION OF VENDORS FOR MANUFACTURE, INSPECTION, TESTING AND SUPPLY OF PRECISION MACHINED COMPONENTS. 1. Vendors shall be capable of manufacturing, testing and supply of any two of below mentioned categories pertaining to critical parts of rotating and reciprocating machinery with material of construction like stainless steel, alloy steel, low alloy steel, low temperature carbon steel (LTCS), carbon steel, aluminum, aluminum alloy. a) Valve Blocks, Cylinders, Valve bodies, Piston rods, Crank Shafts etc. of reciprocating machines. b) Shafts, Shafts sleeves, stuffing boxes, bearing housing etc. of rotating machines. c) Various components of steam control valves, i.e., valve spindle and valve cones. etc. Machining tolerances for all above categories to be maintained within mm. Self attested copies of minimum 2 Purchase Orders alongwith completion / performance certificates pertaining to the jobs, with machining tolerances within mm, successfully executed against each of two out of above three categories, of reputed Public / Private Sector Organisations/ Govt. Organisation executed during last Five Years, shall be submitted as a documentary proof. 2. Tenderer shall have the necessary Precision machines, capable of performing all the Precision Machining Operations, as well as other Infrastructure & Facilities required for making Precision Machined Components. List of equipment alongwith their specifications shall be submitted as a documentary proof. 3. Tenderer shall have the adequate facilities required for Inspection & Measurement of various dimensions of the Precision Machined Components. 5 4. Tenderer shall have necessary facilities for carrying out Heat Treatment either in-house at their own works or to arrange from outside. 5. Tenderer shall have capability to procure Materials of Construction like Stainless Steel, Alloy Steel, Low Alloy Steel, Low Temperature Carbon Steel (LTCS), Carbon Steel, Aluminium, Aluminium Alloy etc., conforming to relevant Specifications and Standards for making Precision Machined Components, from reputed vendors on its own. Self attested copies of documentary proof in support of above shall be submitted. 6. Tenderer shall have necessary facilities, either on their own or from Govt. approved test house for carrying out Non-Destruction Testing like Dye Penetrant Test, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Ultrasonic Test, Radiographic Examination, Material Testing for Chemical Composition & Physical and Mechanical Properties, Hydraulic Testing, Pneumatic Testing and Helium Leak Testing etc. All above tests shall have to be carried out by a qualified person. 7. Tenderer shall have the capability to arrange stage-wise & final Inspection and Testing under a reputed Third Party Inspection Agency, i.e., M/s LRIS, DNV or TUV for raw material as well as during machining of jobs as per NIT requirement. Self attested copies of documentary proof in support of above shall be submitted. 8. Tenderer shall have sufficient experience for execution of jobs referred at Sr. No. 1 above, during last five years (ending ).
