2 HISTORY Hawman Container Services was founded in the late 70 s as a service and refurbishing facility of barils and intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) based out of Barrie ON. Over the years the company has experienced tremendous growth by developing its own line of standard products. Our off the shelf, UN approved, IBC containers product line represents our standard offering, having our own Polyethylene Rotomolding division capable of building 40 IBC s per day from raw materials to a completely finished product. Being 100% Canadian family owned and operated the company has continued to expand its fabrication capabilities with significant expansions in equipment and facilities therefore creating the HCS Group Manufacturing business unit. Our exposure to a variety of industries over the past 30 years has allowed us to expand into custom fabricated process equipment supply such as API 650 & 12F tanks, CWB structural frames & platforms as well as ASME registered pressure piping and turnkey fluid handling systems. GOAL Our goal as a company is to offer the most comprehensive product line in our industry and to specialize at developing packaging solutions for the most difficult packaging problems our customers may present. LOCATIONS We have over 120,000 square feet of manufacturing space at 3 locations in Barrie Ontario and manufacture most of the components and sub-components for our products in house. Our in house capabilities allow us to offer the shortest lead times in the industry and often we are able to ship directly from stock.
