1 DC STATIONS DC Stations, Section 11, Investigating Damage Descriptions Tip 002 During rapid investigation it is very difficult to describe the different types of damage when communicating with the DCRS or DCC so the rapid repairs can be started. The following provides a training aid to describe specific damage to aid in identification, assessment, situational awareness and reporting (Most of these are also included within the dialog boxes for the DCAMS software). As pictures are collected and researched, they will be added to show a visual representation of the damages. 1. PIPE RUPTURES Pin Hole Hole Split Break Crack Severed Sheared (section of pipe missing) Flange Damage Elbow Damage Ruptured Valve Blown Gasket Piping Deformed Solder joints melted 2.
