2 General View of Farm Situation Directions Description Snab Farm is situated in an attractive rural area of Dumfriesshire with its rolling hills and extensive areas of woodland yet only about 5 miles north east of Junction 20 on the A74(M) Motorway. The city of Carlisle lies about 19 miles to the south east with the towns of Lockerbie and Annan lying 12 miles so the north west and 10 miles to the south west respectively. The village of Eaglesfield then lies 4 miles to the south west with the smaller village of Waterbeck lying about 2 miles to the west. From Junction 20 on the A75(M) Motorway travel east along the B722 through the village of Eaglesfield. Continue straight through the village, without turning left along the B722 to Waterbeck, and continue along this minor road past the Springkell Estate on the left. Continue along this road until you arrive at a minor crossroads and turn right and head for Langholm. The entrance to Snab Farm is then situated on the right and about 1 mile from this minor crossroads.
