Greater space than shown between notches is permissable, but shall result in no less than 6 ribbons per 1200mm lateral span and shall not bel closer to one another than 75mm. *At system termination points, an adhesive ribbon is applied to the board's backside edge, except for areas that are meant to allow drainage. Front and plan Views of adhesive distribution for field of wall application.* 9mm approx. Ribbon height may vary, but should be no less than 7mm. *Patent pending An application table or easel is recommended. Stratum Trowel* is available from Dryvit only and is of propriety design. 9 Stratum Guard I and II SG mm o/c The Stratum II RS Board is geometrically defined EPS with grooves spaced equidistantly every 305 mm on centre. The Stratum II RS Board is chamfered all sides at 45 degrees. It is not required that grooves vertically align from one board over the next during installation. Cut boards should have their edges chamfered to match factory profile. A standard rasp is effective tool in achieving this. Minimum insulation thickness 37mm (1.5 in). 25 mm 6.4 mm Groove Profile Plan View of Stratum II RS Board and sample adhesive distribution pattern All sides 12.7 mm 12.7 mm 50.0 mm Stratum Guard II RS Board Profile and Adhesive Pattern

Expansion joints at floor-lines or other EIFS to EIFS junctures shall use rectangular bead configuration which shall be designed for minimum 4 times the anticipated movement, but no less than 19mm (3/4 in). All such joints shall employ a secondary moisture ingress protection strategy. w Closed-cell backer rod For Angle Beads: t = 6.3mm (1/4 in) min. w = specified by manufacturer of abutting material but no less than 3mm (1/8 in). Rectangular Bead Finish material is not to be applied at sealant bond line locations.
