Made from Flemish Clay renowned for its high quality and its mellow, attractive colours, the DOUBLE PANNE S results from the combination of our high technology and exceptional quality standards producing one of the most appealing, cost-effective clay pantiles in the UK. 4 IMERYS DOUBLE PANNE S Dry Fix AND Ventilation Faster, cleaner, more effective solutions FOR YOUR ROOF TILE FIXING BS5534:2014 states that all interlocking tiles must be mechanically fixed. IMERYS Roof Tiles can provide, free of charge, windload calculations and fixing recommendations in accordance with UK Standards. RIDGE/HIP SUPPORT TRAYS Ridge/Hip Support Trays are designed to support all interlocking and non-interlocking (butt) ridges and hips with IMERYS profiled pantiles to give a neat, continuous line. Once installed they are secure and unobtrusive, ensuring they do not detract from the overall look of the roof. The black, upvc tray comes in convenient packs of 10 x 1.2m lengths that are easy to store and transport. Dry Fix for Interlocking AND Non-Interlocking Ridge/Hips Dry Vent ridge and hip systems are available. The NHBC now require that all ridges and hips are mechanically fixed even if a mortar bedded finish is chosen. Interlocking Kit Contents Non-Interlocking Kit Contents Ventilation Options Roof Ventilation should comply with building regulations and the control of condensation on buildings outlined in BS5250:2011 and Approved Document C2:2004 (amended 2010). The level of ventilation depends firstly on the roof design, cold or warm roof construction, the type of membrane being used vapour permeable/breathable or impermeable underlays, roof pitches above or below 35 or roof spans that exceed 10 metres. As a guide for most situations ventilation should be introduced at eaves or low level of 10,000 or 25,000 mm 2 /m and 5,000mm 2 /m at ridge or high level. Spacing centres to achieve ventilation area of 5,000mm 2 /m: 2.0 metres or 1.0 metre centres for 10,000mm 2 /m. All tiles should be selected from three palettes to ensure a good colour mix. The fixing of roof tiles should comply with wind loads appropriate to the site location and roof design.
