2 Polymaxitalia Made to measure acoustic insulation solutions Desire and dedication since 1993 Polymaxitalia was founded upon desire and dedication in 1993 in Castelfranco Veneto, a medieval town in the Veneto region of North East Italy. These driving forces continue to inspire the company to push to improve today to grow for tomorrow. The founders shared love of music drew them to the field of acoustic insulation where their investigations into the latest studies in acoustic materials and technology triggered their business idea in residential acoustics sector. When the residential acoustic sector was still in its formative years, Polymaxitalia began investing in non-woven fibre bonding technology that would provide optimal acoustic insulation performance. Besides the continual studies in product technology, Polymaxitalia tests and measures the acoustical performance capabilities that the materialtechnology mix can guarantee, and promptly certifies the results. In 2011, Polymaxitalia reorganised to become a better performing organisation, a leaner organisation, capable of responding quickly and more effectively to customer needs. Polymaxitalia s strategic focus is to be more and more a provider of made-to-measure solutions in both acoustic insulation technology as well as in the design of acoustic solutions for public areas, in particular in cinemas, theatres, schools, hotels, and restaurants. 1 Introduction

3 Production Capabilities In Polymaxitalia we produce 90% of the products present in our catalogue, from the rolls of impact sound insulation materials to the insulated wall and ceiling panels including the various accessories needed to create the ideal acoustic insulation solution. Our internal production facility allows us to personalise the final acoustical product based on the customer s specific needs, to implement effective quality control procedures throughout the development and production processes and last, but not least, keep delivery lead-times at a minimum. Unlike companies that produce their raw materials internally, we in Polymaxitalia select very carefully from the market the most suitable raw materials for the customer s acoustical insulation application needs. Introduction 2

4 L w = 19 db 1 3 In only 6cm, we certify a reduction of 19 db with our anti-vibration false ceiling thanks to our ELASTIC ORI mounts, our POLYROCK soundproofing matting and our double-layered acoustic sheet PHONOPRILL. 1 2 R' W = 56 db 2 Room dividers require particular attention. Between two wall facings between which is inserted our SUPERWALL 10 sheet to provide the simplest and most effective solution. 3 Introduction

8 Quality raw materials In Polymaxitalia we select meticulously the ideal raw materials for its our acoustic insulation solutions specifically developed for the construction sector. Most raw materials are sourced in Italy because it is here that effective solutions are created. For example, lead, sourced outside the EU, can contain toxins that exceed permitted levels. Investing in better raw materials means we are able to better guarantee healthier acoustic construction casings. Lead board Only first fusion lead from the EU that fully respects the most severe EU pollution quality controls. High quality plasterboard, superior stability and strength. Polyethylene Membrane Expanded Polyethylene, both cross-linked and non, with consistent density and a fine cell structure for exceptional long-term stability and a level of elasticity providing excellent performance in the field of acoustic insulation. First class SBS elastomeric membrane, applicable at any temperature and produced purposely for the acoustic insulation sector. Polyester fibre Wood fibre Polyester fibre, recycled from PET and therefore nature-friendly. Natural wood fibre produced with advanced, energy-saving technology reducing environmental impact. 7 Introduction
