They are all cold applied for reduced risk on site and a seamless membrane on completion. Quickly installed due to rapid product cure times, they are also flexible to cater for building movement and have a range of durability and finishes to achieve individual building uses and demands. All the systems have a large standard colour range but can be made to most BS and RAL colour codes. 5 BALCONIES AND WALKWAYS 5 Wall Decoration and Protection Monosil for concrete, brick and stone Monosil is a clear masonry impregnator which stops the ingress of rain but at the same time does not block the surface pores of the structure. It allows entrapped moisture to be warmed by the sun, turn to vapour and pass out of the structure over a period of time, enabling it to dry out. It helps to prevent absorption of oils and other liquid contamination allowing for easier removal of contaminants. Monodex Smooth water-based elastomeric decorative coating Monodex Smooth is a high performance water based, elastomeric, high build, decorative coating which provides protection against carbonation and water ingress, yet allows damp substrates to breathe. It is ultra-fast drying which enables two coat applications to take place on the same day and facilitates year round usage. It resists the growth of mould and fungi and is ideal both for new construction and refurbishment projects. Monodex Textured high performance, flexible waterborne textured coating Monodex Textured is a highly engineered, waterborne, single component, acrylic-based decorative wall coating with an attractive textured finish. Due to its high build, textured composition, it is ideal for use on buildings and other structures which have a rough, uneven finish with surface defects and imperfections.

Justin Pitman, Managing Director When independent insurance on a project is required Proteus Waterproofing offers 10 & 12 year Latent Defects Insurance that will protect clients against damage resulting from defects in any Proteus Waterproofing product, supplied and installed, for total peace of mind and added value. Latent Defects Insurance is a form of insurance that meets the cost of rectifying defects in design, materials or workmanship which are not apparent when the job is finished but come to light during the period of the warranty. The Warranty is a Latent Defects Insurance and protects against damage resulting from defects in the installed Proteus Waterproofing product. The cover will provide a 10 or 12 year guarantee to the end user/client against latent defects manifesting themselves in the original installation of Proteus Waterproofing systems. This product is distinct from a traditional Insurance Backed Guarantee where the owner / occupier of the building will claim against the original installer and only if that installer has ceased trading will the insurance operate. Thus the independently provided product gives additional security to clients. Longer term and other warranties are available to suit the individual project or requirement.
