5 MISSION STATEMENT The Company YBS are committed to manufacturing insulation products to the very highest quality, which incorporate the utmost levels of innovative design criteria. Company History YBS Insulation was founded in 1994 by the current owner Mr Chris Woodhall. The strategy was to produce high quality, innovative and affordable insulation products for the building industry. The very nature of our core product base today demonstrates that environmental awareness will remain at the top of our agenda. We value our customers as the foundation of our business. Our relationships with customers are based on principles of respect and mutual benefit. We aim to develop profitable and lasting relationships. Due to the special composition of multi-layers of insulation SuperQuilt effectively deals with all forms of energy transfer (i.e. conduction, convection and radiation). SuperQuilt works most effectively by reflecting infra-red radiation. This means that not only is SuperQuilt effective in winter by reflecting heat back into the building and cold out, but also in summer SuperQuilt is a very effective solar over heating barrier reducing the need for artificial cooling systems, preventing uncomfortable heat build up in the roof. The introduction of a unique method of stitching reduces cold bridging commonly seen with other multi-foil insulation material. 6

10 Non-Itch General Purpose Insulation Roll Made from 85% recycled plastic bottles Quick, clean and easy to install No protective clothing required Free from floating fibres Direct equivalent to glass fibre insulation Totally recyclable Total itch free insulation Non-Itch Insulation is made from user-friendly non-irritating, nonitch material that is free from floating fibres or dust and so avoids skin irritation and respiratory problems normally associated with other forms of insulation. Non-Itch will not deteriorate over time and will not be affected by mould, mildew or rot. Non-Itch is also resistant to vermin and insect attack. Non-Itch is packed very tightly to enable maximum distribution per bag. The time taken for Non-Itch to return to full thickness will vary according to ambient temperature and storage time. 16 Airtec Aluminium Foil Bubble Insulation Fully Certified for Wall application Meets NHBC Standards Able to achieve U-Values of 0.27 New Build & Refurbishment CFC/HCFC Free Airtec is a multi-layer air bubble film insulation with aluminium bonded to either one face (Airtec-Single) or both faces (Airtec- Double). The aluminium is coated to give durability and corrosion resistance therefore creating a fully waterproof insulation system. Airtec is a high performance insulation material which acts by trapping air within its structure creating low emissivity air spaces which enhance its total thermal capabilities. 15

Foil-Tec is a multi-layer foil laminate coated with nitrocellulose to provide a corrosion resistant, highly reflective and robust vapour control layer insulation system. Foil-Tec provides additional strength and thermal performance over conventional vapour control layer material, and giving the added benefit of a service cavity. Foil-Tec is a high-performance material which acts by creating a low emissivity air space in the wall or roof, thus reflecting the heat back into the building. Manufactured from high quality PVC-U, it is a window former, locator and cavity closer, which enables Contractors to fit window frames quickly and easily by building around the sub-frame then fitting the window after all other building work is completed. Builder-friendly, CAVI-MATE can be used in conjunction with any type of window system, including timber, and can be mechanically joined using a simple, purpose-designed corner cleat. 22

Type-R and Type-R Fire-Stop comprises two rigid extensions, one of which has a unique, flexible, water seal. Once the window is in place the flexible seal sits against the window frame and acts as a secondary water seal.
