8 Keep these instructions on file. Contact your distributor for replacement parts Adult supervision is required at all times! Maintenance/Inspection Visual inspection is recommended prior to each use. Inspect all strings, nets, decks, graphic banners, mats, accessories and the slide for loose, torn or broken parts. If damage is present you must repair or replace that component to prevent further damage or injury to the user. Contact your distributor to order replacement parts. Ensure all connector fittings are in place and properly seated into play panels. Ensure slide is installed tightly. Trouble Shooting Dimensions listed in the drawings above will vary up to +/- 1 because of the padding. The connector fittings with the threaded rod welded on top are used to connect the junction of panels 1 and 2 to the junction of panel 8 and 7 using the round connection shaft included. Panels 5 and 9 have the standard net as well as a secondary net required for the slide area. SHOULD A COMPONENT BECOME DAMAGED YOU MUST CLOSE THE UNIT TO PLAY UNTIL THE REPAIRS ARE MADE! In order to prevent injury to personnel and damage to components a minimum of two people are required to lift all panels, decks and the slide. To prevent damage during install all components should be placed on a protective surface (cardboard, plastic sheet or tarp) and not placed directly on the ground while they are being sorted. It is recommended that users take their shoes off before entering the play equipment. 8

9 LAYOUT VIEW 9

10 Us the drawings of the panels and decks to identify each component and use the layout view to identify their proper location. Since some of the panels have the same dimensions further information is needed to identify them: Panel 1 graphic at the bottom of the panel is a bird. Panel 2 graphic at the bottom of the panel is a rabbit Panel 3 graphic at the bottom of the panel are two monkeys (the graphic on panel 3 is larger than the graphic on panel 6 which also has two monkeys) Panel 4 graphic at the bottom of the panel is a squirrel WHEN INSTALLING THE CONNECTION FITTINGS BE SURE TO INSTALL THE BOTTOM FITTING FIRST THAN THE PANEL AND FINALLY THE TOP FITTING. USE THE LAYOUT DRAWING TO IDENTIFY THE PROPER CONNECTION FITTING TO USE. NOTE HOW THE PANELS OVERLAP EACH OTHER AT THE CORNER TO IDENTIFY THE REQUIRED FITTING Panel 1 and 2 represent the front of the unit while panels 20 and 21 represent the back of the unit. All detail drawings are located at the end of this instruction booklet. There are three sizes of spindles small, medium and large. Installation Instructions 1. Install the required connection fittings into the bottom of panel. The graphic should be facing away from the unit. (refer to detail 1 at the end of this instruction book. 2. Slide panel 2 onto the fitting it shares with panel 1 and the other bottom fitting it shares with panel 3. THIS STEP REPEATS THROUGHOUT THE PROJECT. 3. Insert the special fitting (one of the fittings with the threaded rod welded to the top) at the top where panels 1 and 2 meet. (This rod connects this point to the junction or panels 7 & 8 using the included connection tube. See Detail 2 at the end of this instruction booklet) 4. Install panels 3 and 4 using the layout view for proper placement. 5. While referring to the layout drawing install the following panels in order: a. 7 (graphic at the bottom of panel 7 should face towards the back of the unit) & 8 b. 5, 9 & 6 6. Install the slide by inserting the tabs welded on to the slide in to the pockets attached to panels 9 and 5 (Detail 3). In order to verify proper installation the slide should slope down towards the front of the unit. 7. Install the connection rod at the junctions of panels 1 & 2 and panels 7 & 8. (Detail 2) 10

11 8. Install panel Install panel Install the spindle bar by first sliding the loops of half (9) of the small spindles over the spindle bar. Then attach the spindle bar to the top of panel 12 using the included hardware. (Refer to detail 4 for spindle installation) 11. Install panels 10, 11 & Following the procedure in step 10 and install the spindles and spindle bar into the lower section of panel 14 using the remaining small spindles. 13. Install panels 17 & Following the procedure in step 10 install a large spindle and spindle bar at the top of panel Then install a large spindle into the lower portion of panel 17 by sliding the tabbed spindle bar into the pockets about halfway down the panel. This spindle attaches much like the slide did so refer to detail 3 for attaching the spindle bar to the panel. 16. Next install all of the medium spindles into the top portion of panel 17 following the procedure in step Install panels 16, 18 & Install panels 20 and Identify where each deck goes by referring to the layout view on page 9. The decks should be marked with their deck number on the bottom side of the deck near the edge. Should the deck not have a number on it you may refer to the drawings at the beginning of this instruction booklet to help identify each deck. 20. Insert the large pad into the front of the unit. 21. Install the large arch cushion on top of decks 3 and 4 at the back of the unit. Refer to the top down drawing on page 2 for proper placement. 22. Inspect and clean the unit. 23. Install mats into the bottom of each opening under the decks. 24. Install netting roof by laying the net over the entire structure and attach it to the panels with the zip ties. Once the entire net is attached go back and trim the zip ties being careful that all sharp edges are smoothed down and pointing towards the outside of the unit. 11
