1 NQF3 or NQF6? ICWS can offer via the NQF3 three semester option and the NQF3 two options. These will run alongside the NQF6 foundation option which remains business as usual. It is the language score of the student that determines which option we can offer to the student, not their academic level. A UKVI approved IELTS test (or Trinity College London test) is required for all NQF3 level courses at the appropriate level. 4 Entry Criteria Academic entry criteria is as normal for foundation however we will adopt the following rules around ; NQF3 Three semester programme: 5.0 (4.5) allowing one x 4.5 component in either reading, listening, speaking only - academic writing must be (5.0). (UKVI approved IELTS required) NQF3 Two semester programme: 5.5 (5.0) allowing two x 5.0 components in either in reading, listening, speaking only - academic writing must also be (5.5).
