3 Premium Fully Accessible Slatted Ceiling System Fixing Options SUPATILE SLAT panels come in two fixing options. Lift & Shift (L&S) is supplied with SUPAWOOD s own SUPATILE grid system. DIT (Drop-In Tiles) are designed to fit into an existing grid system. Panel to Panel Panel to Panel - end to end Grid Requirements: Grid is to be SUPATILE GRID with main runners installed at 600mm centres with 600mm cross-tees at 100 or 600mm centres. When installed as per SUPAWOOD's instructions the SUPATILE Grid will support any SUPATILE Slat configuration. Other Special Features: 5mm end-to-end joints Standard panels sizes available 100 x x x x x 600 SUPATILE Slat L&S panels can cross over T-bars, which means a 600 x 600 SUPATILE Grid layout can be used to create a truly random panel layout. DIT Drop-In-Tile Panel to Panel Panel to Panel - end to end 5mm end-to-end joints Standard panels sizes available 100 x x x 300 Grid Requirements: Existing grid may be repainted (enamel paint recommended) and used but must be able to support the weight of the tiles as well as the service load factors as prescribed in the AS785. Refer to Supawoods Technical Services Department for tile weights. What is required to achieve this will depend on the specific brand, system and configuration currently installed. Typically additional support would be expected to consist of additional hanger supports but the contractor is to take independent advice on this from the supplier of the grid.
