1 SOR FOR PILE FOUNDATION WORKS FOR TANKAGE & ENGINEERING STORE S.NO Description Unit Total Qty EARTH WORK EXCAVATION : Earthwork in excavation at all depths for foundation, pile cap, drain, ramp, pits, etc., in ordinary soils including the area filled up with soil, in both Dry and Wet conditions, including Pumping and Bailing out Surface and Subsoil water, rain water by using any suitable dewatering method, Shoring, Strutting, Slush removal, sorting out the excavated earth into serviceable and unserviceable material, including backfilling in all positions, in layers of 150mm at all heights and depths as per Drawing and Specifications wherever required, in foundation pits and other places. The cost include transportation of both unserviceable/serviceable material into dumping yards or wherever required as per direction of Engineer incharge upto any M lead within plant boundary, spreading in layers of thickness not more than 200mm, as per specifications and direction of Engineer. The Contractor shall take into account in his rate, the provision for excess excavation for necessary working space, side slope and backfilling the same. Existing ground level/t.l shall be recorded jointly before starting of excavation. All survey equipment (like dumpy level etc) shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost. Rate to include all type of relevant tests. Cost towards dewatering of surface or subsoil water shall be deemed to have included in the quoted rate. 2 3 SUPPLYING & FILLING CLEAN SAND Supplying and filling approved quality of river fine sand in foundation or under floor, trenches, pits and other places, transportation for all leads, lifts, loading and unloading, spreading in layers of thickness not exceeding 150 mm at all depths, compacting mechanically or by saturation to minimum 90% of maximum laboratory dry density(modified proctor) including dressing as required etc. complete, as directed by site engineer. M SUPPPLYING AND LAYING PLAIN CEMENT CONCRETE :PCC - 1:4:8, BELOW PLINTH USING 40 MM AGG. Supplying and Laying Plain Cement Concrete of Grade 1:4:8 with stone aggregate of 40mm down size (including centering & shuttering if required) and with cement of approved make as specified in all levelling courses under Foundation, pile cap, floors, rigid pavement, Pits, trenches etc., at all heights / depths and floors including scaffolding, unless otherwise specified as per Drawings and Specifications and instruction of the Engineer.
