2 QUATTRO PARLOUR MATTING & REPAIR Quattro can supply and/or fit a variety of more than suitable mats for parlour pits, cow standings, walkways etc. All of which have excellent anti-skid qualities, easy to clean & competitively priced. The mats are very effective for grip and they provide extra comfort for the cows. Cow comfort is very important for high producing dairy cattle where lameness is a major problem. Working with your vet, lameness problems can be tackled in a multi-factorial way. We manufacture our own bonding resin to fix the rubber which is important to extend the life of the floor. It also greatly improves hygiene as milk and slurry are not trapped beneath the mats. 3 FLEXSCREED SEAMLESS PARLOUR RUBBER It is a fact that the best dairy environments with correct cow comfort provide the greatest benefits for good health and improved productivity. There has always been a requirement for sealed rubber surfaces but it has been technically difficult to achieve especially in working parlours. Many dairy herds suffer from lameness to varying degrees. New guidelines for rubber in parlours state: If you are resurfacing areas within the parlour it is advised to speak to your Dairy Hygiene Inspector to check the proposed resurfacing will not create any hygiene issues. Foreign material can collect around the edge and under some types of floor covering creating hygiene issues. To fulfil these requirements. With much work and testing they have achieved the ultimate in cow welfare with the development of a very strong anti-slip, seamless rubber screed, for milking parlours, collecting yards and feed passages. The sealed rubber screed (Flexscreed ) provides more comfort and protection than rubber mats and rolls. It supercedes all previous systems, cannot go brittle or hard and has tremendous recovery with high wear statistics. Flexscreed is the only rubber flooring product that fully satisfies the hygienic requirements to the letter for parlour floor grant applications plus assists in overcoming foot problems of cows continually in contact with concrete, combined with excellent anti skid, welfare elements. Flexscreed is incredibly strong. It has been applied in an Elephant Pen and at Hyde Park Barracks where 18hh and 19hh giant shod horses have had the benefit for 28 months without wear. 4 LUXURY COW MATTRESSES WATERPROOF CLEAN EASY FITTED COMFORT HYGIENIC After looking into other mattresses and mats Quattro discovered that most systems still have inherent problems, some have porous covers, some have covers that split, both a breeding ground for bacteria. Some are filled with rubber crumbs that spread when used, forming a hollow holding dirt and urine. Wet bedding gets underneath some cubicle systems causing deformity in the mats. All these are potentially mastitis problems. Taking the above into account Quattro have produced a superb thick, comfortable, strong mattress that overcomes all of the above. The design of the system allows for the option of either single cubicles or a continual cover spreading over a number of cubicles.
