4 Our service Our project team The Benchmarx affordable housing project team is headed up by Peter Boakes (Head of National Sales) who is supported by a dedicated team of managers, sales staff, kitchen designers, surveyors and administrators. Unlike many of our competitors, we directly employ our estimators and surveyors. That means they re always on hand to work on your projects, and are committed to providing the best possible service to the affordable housing sector. FREE delivery service Our view is that the delivery of the kitchen is an incredibly important part of the whole process; therefore we operate our own fleet of vehicles, which means that we can provide a professional delivery service to either a site compound, or the resident s front door. We also use hand held terminals that ensure accuracy on all deliveries. Our lead times Voids Once the property is ready for the new kitchen to be installed, we ll arrange delivery within 24 hours. Contractor collections are always available. Planned maintenance We offer a lead time of 3 working days for planned maintenance, to allow time for vehicle scheduling, and let you plan effectively with your contractors and residents. 4

5 The planning process Our FREE design and planning service Our experienced professional kitchen designers will work closely with your residents to plan each kitchen using the latest CAD software. They will meet with your residents on-site to talk through their ideas and requirements and produce a working plan on the spot. This helps reduce the number of changes to the design once the project is under way. The planning process 1. Your resident chooses a kitchen to design using the free sample board we supply (below). 2. Selection is recorded on choice sheet (below). 3. Our designer plans the kitchen taking care to comply with client specification, and taking the residents choices into account. 4. The designer shows the resident a computer-generated image of what their kitchen will look like. 5. When the resident is happy with the design, it s signed off and a copy given to the resident. 6. The kitchen is ready to order the very next day.
