DOCUMENT DISTRIBUTION: The attached "Document Distribution" page details how documents and addenda will be distributed. 2. ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION BUDGET INCLUDING ALLOWANCES: Total for BP# 008 $19, 735, Scope of Work. The Work consists of: Org 017 H. Grady Spruce High School - Project consists generally of the following; 1. Phase 1 work includes the addition of a single story building, including approximately 22,500 square feet of new classroom and support spaces, new reinforced concrete paved fire lanes and water utilities, both on-site and off-site for fire protection services. Structurally, the new addition includes drilled concrete piers, reinforced concrete grade beam foundation, concrete floor slab on metal deck and steel framing, steel columns, concrete roof structure. Architecturally the new addition includes fully grouted and reinforced concrete block walls, exterior brick veneer, modified bitumen roof system, limited glass and aluminum storefront entries, interior gypsum board walls, hollow metal door frames, solid core wood doors, door hardware, classroom and lab casework, acoustical lay-in tile ceilings, painting, VCT and carpet floor finishes. 2. Phase 1 work also includes removal and replacement of approximately 129,000 square feet of existing roof and related flashing with a new modified bitumen roof system and sheet metal flashing. 3. Phase 1 site work includes grading and excavation as required for the new classroom addition, new reinforced concrete fire lane pavements and replacement of reinforced concrete pavements associated with underground utility work and landscaping. 4. Phase 1 Mechanical Systems include new DX units with plenum return and separate ventilation system. In conjunction with the re-roofing, existing roof-mounted ductwork will be removed and replaced. 5. Phase 1 Electrical includes a new 1000 Amp 277/480 volt 3 phase main service disconnect and distribution. New lighting will be 277V LED or fluorescent light fixtures. 6. Phase 1 Fire Protection includes a new 6 inch fire sprinkler line for the addition providing a fully sprinklered wet fire protection system.

2 7. Phase 1 Plumbing includes a new 6 inch sanitary sewer line and new 2-1/2 inch domestic water line for the addition. 8. Phase 2 site work includes a new reinforced concrete drive and parking at the existing south entrance, new concrete sidewalks, repair and painting of the existing entry canopy, landscaping, and building/site lighting. 9. Phase 2 work also includes renovation work inside the existing school building for new classrooms. 10. Phase 2 work includes painting and new lighting of the existing Auto Body/Mechanic shops. 4. One (1) CD-ROM in PDF format will be provided at no additional charge with the purchase of one (1) complete set of full size plans and specifications. Purchase price must be obtained directly from the Printing Company. The purchases of additional CD-ROM s of proposal documents in PDF format are available only to purchasers of at least one (1) full size plans and specifications.
