4 INTRODUCTION ABOUT South African Road Binders (SARB) specializes in the manufacturing, supply and application of the various bitumens binders in the road construction industry. All our products are tested by independent SANAS accredited laboratories to ensure compliance with relevant specifications and requirements EXPERTISE The manufacture and supply of the full range of bitumenous binders and bitumen related products i.e;penetration grade bitumen and modified binders for all types of chip and spray activities. Penetration and cut back binders for prime and pre coating. Bitumen emulsions - both stable and spray grades. Our qualified and experienced teams provide high quality surfacing finishes in every aspect of chip and spray, asphalt overlay, conventional slurries as well as microsurfacing to various National, Provincial and Municipal State-owned entities as well as contractors on maintenance, re-surfacing and rehabilitation projects.

HEALTH AND SAFETY The management of South African Road Binders is committed to an active Health and Safety Program and will provide leadership and support to achieve and maintain the highest standards. The safety and health function consists of integrated participation between management and employees and strives to achieve a workplace which is free of hazards. Management accepts their responsibility to inform those who may be exposed to hazards in the workplace and to develop appropriate operation standards as part of an effective prevention program.
