15 Care & Maintenance Conduct a routine 12 monthly maintenance inspection. Best protection of the timber and ease of maintenance is ensured if InnoCoat is recoated before deterioration of the coating. First indication of the need for recoating will be observed as patchiness or discolouration on edges and areas where insufficient product has been applied. Lightly sand the surface using 180 grit sand paper, wash Innowood thoroughly with Intergrain Reviva and recoat with InnoCoat Oil following application instructions. To apply a maintenance coat to a surface which is in good condition, simply clean the surface with Reviva and apply one coat of InnoCoat. Storage and Handling InnoWood boards are a finished product, should not be dumped or dropped on the ground when loading or unloading. InnoWood boards should be unpacked, stored on a flat surface and supported at 600 mm centres and stored under cover out of the weather and in the shade, until ready to install. InnoWood board should not be stored in the rain or covered or wrapped with plastic cover sheets. InnoWood boards should be carried on edge, for better support. INNOWOOD SEALER INNOCOAT WATER BASED OIL To maintain the finish and extend the life of Innowood material, regular simple maintenance is recommended. To protect Innowood s Colour, coating should be applied. InnoWood sealer - InnoCoat has a life expectancy of 1-5 years, depending upon amount of sunlight and pedestrian traffic it attracts. InnoCoat a high performance, quick dry and easy clean up delivers an exceptionally durable and high resistance to UV, long lasting semitransparent finish that enhances the characteristics of the composite timber grain and weathers naturally. It has extremely low odour, easy water wash up and is fast drying, allowing two coats to be applied in one day. For a slip resistant finish add InnoCoat Grip to InnoCoat. InnoCoat used on all exterior InnoWood products such as Decking, Cladding, Out Door Furniture, Fences, Railings, Shutter, Louvre, etc. Non- Hazardous Non- Flammable Non-toxic Lead Free UV Resistant Wood grain remains Visible. Excellent penetration and adhesion. FINISH AND COLOUR InnoWood prides itself in being able to achieve natural timber appearances with a wood grain finish, textures venation, colours and hues. InnoWood has a slight visible colour tone and hue difference across and along InnoWood material, features similar to natural timber colour. InnoWood is supplied with a smooth surface and face-sanded. InnoWood original finish is uncoated can directly be used indoor or for outdoor, colour fading should be expected unless coated with a UV stabilised water based sealer which will protect the InnoWood against Australia s harsh UV conditions as well as the abrasive effects of foot traffic for up to 1-5 years, however conduct a routing 12 monthly maintenance inspection.
