The Tapper+ is fast an easy to install an provies a neat, finishe appearance. The Tapper+ screw anchor is engineere with matche tolerance rill bits an installation tools esigne to meet the nees of the user an also provie optimum performance. The Tapper+ features a gimlet point for self-rilling into woo base materials without pre-rilling. The Tapper+ screw anchor is available in carbon steel with a Perma-Seal climate coating in several colors. 2 Tapper+ Installation Proceure.) Using the proper Tapper+ rill bit size, rill a hole into the base material to the require epth. The tolerances of the Tapper+ bit use must meet the requirements of the publishe range in Table. Note: Step # an # not applicable for woo base materials, rill bit not applicable for woo base materials..) Remove ust an ebris from hole using a han pump, compresse air or a vacuum to remove loose particles left from rilling. 3.) Attach a Tapper 000 installation socket tool for the selecte anchor size to a percussion rill an set the rill to rotary only moe. Mount the screw anchor hea into the socket. For flat hea versions a phillips bit tip must be use with the socket tool. 4.) Place the point of the Tapper+ anchor through the fixture into the prerille hole an rive the anchor until it is fully seate at the proper embement. The socket tool will automatically isengage from the hea of the Tapper+.
