Provide blocking for install of future wall mounted visual display surfaces at locations indicated in drawings..2 REVISE Item DE-4 to DE-2..4 SECTION FLEXIBLE DUCTS.1 ADD entire section to specification (attached). 1.2 CLARIFICATIONS ARCHITECTURAL.1 Please see attached for our substation request regarding the polyester acoustic panels in the McDonald Building, Transport Canada, Accommodation FitUp project. Response: This is a performance specification..2 We are requesting that the Horton Automatics Series 4100LE swing door operator be considered as an equal to the specified Besam Sw200i operators. The Horton 4100LE operator are ULC approved and meets or exceeds the ANSI A requirements for power operated doors. Response: This is a performance specification. The product listed is a standard of acceptance..3 Our supplier for the Folding Panel Partitions says that the operable walls are too small to make electric and so they wish to quote an alternate for their paired panel manually operated folding panel partitions. Response: Requests for Substitutions that do not meet the performance of the specification are not accepted..4 I am submitting the following Acoustic Ceiling Tile and Wall Panel data sheets on behalf of my customer Custom Drywall looking for approval to price that section of the job. Part 2 Products 2.1 GENERAL.1 Factory fabricated to CAN/ULC-S Pressure drop coefficients listed below are based on relative sheet metal duct pressure drop coefficient of Flame spread rating not to exceed 25. Smoke developed rating not to exceed NON-METALLIC - INSULATED.1 Non-collapsible, inner duct of woven and coated fibreglass liner permanently bonded to, and helically supported by, external steel wire with factory applied, flexible fibreglass thermal insulation with vapour barrier and reinforced metallized film laminate jacket..2 Performance:.1 Factory tested to 2.5 kpa without leakage..2 Thermal loss/gain: 1.35 W/m 2. degrees C mean..3 Flexible air ducts shall conform to UL-181 Standard and NFPA 90A. Flexible air ducts shall have a fire rating of at least one-half hour as measured by UL-181 Standard, paragraph No.7, Flame Penetration Test..4 Do not restrict duct free area. Conform to NBFU Pamphlet 90A, paragraph 113, (a) revised to date. Attach with galvanized wire hose clamps and duct sealer. Connections to operate at 2.5 kpa without leakage or bursting. 2.3 NON-METALLIC - ACOUSTIC INSULATED.1 Non-collapsible, inner duct of woven and coated chlorinated polyethylene liner permanently bonded to, and helically supported by, external steel wire with factory applied, flexible fibreglass thermal insulation with vapour barrier and reinforced metallized film laminate jacket..2 Performance:.1 Factory tested to 1.5 kpa without leakage..2 Acoustical performance: Minimum attenuation (db per 3 meter of length at 12.7 meters/second) to following table:
