1 Capital Projects Status Report October 1, 2018 Auxiliary Services 995 West Beardsley Place Salt Lake City, Utah P F Current Projects 1. Edison construction update: In Area A, roofing is complete on the multipurpose room. Masonry veneer has started on the east walls and the mechanical units above the stage are set. The second floor is poured in Area B and structural masonry is complete. MEP is in progress. In Area C, interior framing on the first floor is in progress and the second floor has been poured. In Area D, structural steel is underway. The main sewer line along the west side of the building is complete. Edison

2 2. Meadowlark construction update: In Area A 90% of exterior framing and wall sheathing is complete. Installation of masonry veneer has started. Interior framing and MEP are in progress on the first floor. Concrete floor is complete on the second floor. In Area B, the concrete on the second floor will be poured tomorrow and structural steel is 85% complete. In Area C on the first floor, most

3 interior framing and MEP are complete. Roof decking is 90% complete. Masonry veneer is in progress. The storm drainage interceptor is complete and they are working on the pump house. Meadowlark

4 Capital Projects- 9/28/ Jackson Irrigation Project Construction update The project is complete. Training for our Irrigation Specialists on the new WeatherTrak clock is scheduled for October 10, Dilworth Irrigation Project Construction update The project is complete and the temporary fence removed. The punch list and training for our Irrigation Specialists on the new WeatherTrak clock is complete. 3. HHS Irrigation Project Construction update The point of connection is complete at the new meter and is being used to irrigate the grounds. The additional storm drains lines and boxes are installed on the north side of the school. Landscaping in all of the islands in the main parking lot is complete. The main line and wiring will be completed in the next two weeks. 4. HHS Remodel Stage Dressing Rooms is complete. 5. Hillside Paint Classrooms this project is complete. 6. Backman Replace all Bathroom Stalls this project is out for bids. 7. Bryant Power Wash Exterior Brick is out for bids. 8. Emerson Paint Stage project is complete. 9. Northwest windows sealing and caulking this project is in progress now. 10. Franklin windows sealing and caulking project is complete. 11. Jackson Replacing Entrance Doors the final bid process is complete and the project will be starting. 12. Jackson Stage Paint project is complete. 13. Wasatch Stage Paint project is complete. 14. Rose Park Replacing Irrigation System.

5 Replacing irrigation system on park strip, I have revived one bid from turf sprinkler and waiting for the second from Legacy. It is a possibility they can start this fall. 15. Clayton Replacing Black Fencing with true 9 gage fabric. Job is being done as we speak they have completed the six foot section, waiting for twelve foot fabric. 16. Emerson Landscaping on the north side. Met with landscaping company and we re discussing design options. 17. North Star Landscape southeast corner of property. Also met with a landscape company to discuss ideas. Should know more next week 18. Washington Landscape Southeast corner of property. Also met with a landscape company to discuss ideas. Should know more next week. 19. Washington Topographical Survey is complete. Turned in requisition for design phase. Getting quote for irrigation controller from Sprinkler Supply, will be installing this fall in house. 20. Door Camera installs: All done except East, Highland, Horizonte, and CLC (added). Horizonte and CLC are in the planning/install stages by the contractor and us. 21. Carryovers: Phone systems should be going in within the next month or two. Any extra money from these projects are going towards extra phones or phones for Innovations. Fire alarm CO detection are all complete. 22. Right now we are working on Jace panels from the rollovers. We have 3.5 schools done. 23. West High chiller is complete. 24. Mountain View Idec cell pads are complete. 25. Newman relief fans is scheduled for November. We saved $180, on this job alone. 26. Wasatch had its gym, cafeteria, corridors, and conference room upgraded to LED. This project is complete and closed. 27. West High had two projects, including auditorium, corridor, and external wall packs all upgraded to LED. The only remaining component of this work left to complete is upgrading the dimming control board so the new LED lights dim properly. 28. Whittier had all CFL can fixtures replaced with LED fixtures and the art classroom and office area converted over to LED fixtures. This project is complete and should be closed. 29. Rose Park had atrium area ceiling lights, library CFL can fixtures and the music room converted over to LED. This project is 98% complete and should finish up early next week (October 1). 30. Bryant had corridor and cafeteria 4 X 4 lights, a hallway, work lights over the stage and Home Economics classroom all converted to LED. This project is 95% complete and should finish today Friday September 28. I plan to inspect the work on Monday. 31. Clayton project is underway including replacement of all auditorium Halogen lights and upgrading all CFL work lights to LED. This project should be complete by October 5 th, just in time for the Governor s visit on the 9 th!
