When the flood waters started to rise and inundate their own accommodation... they offered assistance to many including the use of their own vehicles such as a crane truck and utes....these guys are a tribute not only to Santos, but to their companies and their families as well. Santos warehouse and office, Roma QLD Custom Fluid Power warehouse and office, Mackay QLD Completed in 32 weeks, six weeks ahead of time in April 2012, and on budget, this design and construct project is an excellent example of Spaceframe s capacity to deliver a quality outcome, safely, cost efficiently and well ahead of the client s nominated construction timeframe. The project consisting of a 3,000m2 warehouse with an additional 280m2 of office space, is a standard portal frame structure with Dado metal cladding and a high end internal fit-out involving significant coordination with client joinery, workstations, fixtures and fittings. This 1,200m2 warehouse with 500m2 office and provision for future expansion, is Spaceframe s third building completed for this client. Delivered on time and on budget in September, 2011, the 20 week design and construct project included significant client variations and amendments. It s a handsome no nonsense solution that balances warehouse and office elements and capitalises on the long clear spans afforded by the full height tilt panel and portal frame construction. There was a strong focus on ensuring adequate external space in the front of the building for easy vehicular circulation around the hard stand area, while maximising the efficiency and possibilities for expansion on the 4,630m2 site.

5 Safety is at the very heart of every task we undertake. This values based approach starts from our leadership, is highly visible and continuously reinforced throughout the team and on every project. Our starting point is a deeply held belief that all incidents are preventable. Construction Safety Plans and Performance Indicators are in place on all projects aimed at achieving the best possible Health and Safety outcomes. These measures are constantly reviewed and reset to higher benchmarks to drive continuous improvement and the program has been independently audited and compliance certified by Pegasus Safety. Occupational Health and Safety Management Company certified to AS/NZS 4801:2001. Environment The Spaceframe team is constantly working hard to find better ways to save energy and water, minimise waste and look after habitat.
