5 Our Mission Cali Bamboo s mission is to make a difference today for a more sustainable future tomorrow, specifically through the promotion of bamboo materials as beautiful, durable, viable alternatives to traditional products. As the fastest-growing plant on earth, bamboo can be continuously re-harvested without damage to the plant or its surrounding ecosystem. By manufacturing high-quality materials made from renewable resources such as bamboo, the company helps to maintain old growth forests for future generations reducing CO2 emissions, deforestation, and loss of natural habitat for more breathable air and a much brighter future. 6 Giving Back Cali Bamboo s principles of environmental integrity extend to support for the local community, most specifically through sponsorship of local charities. They work with four main charity partners: Rady Children s Hospital, Surfrider, Habitat for Humanity (San Diego chapter), and the San Diego Humane Society. Cali Bamboo raises money for these charities on an annual basis through digital marketing campaigns and a massive annual fundraising concert (called Green Against the Machine) CALI
