Renovation: Career and Technical Education program upgrades. Renewal: Mechanical and electrical improvements. Correct ADA deficiencies. Site: Site work, site utilities, storm water management and landscaping as necessary to accommodate the new buildings and additions. Competitive Sports Facility Improvements: An allowance of $1,107,640 including the Design/Builder s general overhead and fees. Project Status 10/09/06 RFQ for Design Build Services advertised. 11/15/06 Design Criteria Documents complete and issued to short-listed firms. 12/11/06 W.G. Mills recommended as design builder. 02/13/07 Board approval of design-builder selection. 02/23/07 Final design concept for classroom wing and auditorium completed. 03/01/07 Final design concept for stadium entrance and concession stand completed. 03/26/07 60% progress drawings submitted by W.G. Mills. 04/27/07 100% Design Drawings in progress. 05/04/07 100% Design drawings submitted. 05/09/07 100% Design review meeting held. 05/25/07 Construction trailer permit issued. 2 09/04/07 09/11/07 Both the Civil and Landscape Designers reviewed the football field. Final review with SBBC Maintenance personnel and the DB Team is scheduled to occur on 11/13/07. Maintenance of the field by the DB Contractor continues. 09/20/07 The Orchestra pit excavation began along with the dewatering process. 09/25/07 10/3/07 The Home side bleacher addition is scheduled to be added during this time. Additional access sidewalks and an access gate will also be added. 09/25/07 Rebar has been delivered to the site along with forming materials. 09/26/07 Fine grading of the pit bottom has been completed after placement of gravel due to unsuitable soils. All to be completed and ready for mud slab placement on Oct 4, /02/07 Dewatering operations continue. 10/16/07 Orchestra pit completed to elevation /18/07 Bleacher addition completed, inspected and approved. 10/30/07 Waterproof pit walls. 10/30/07 ASI -1 issued. 10/30/07 Design drawings for new Concession / Bathroom addition nearing completion. 11/13/07 The football field received final acceptance from the designers. Minor changes in irrigation were recommended along with additional chemical treatments. WGM will continue maintenance of the field through January /20/07 The existing campus renovation work of the temperature control system has been awarded to Johnson Controls. Replacement of this system will be closely coordinated with the school staff and the Maintenance Department. 11/20/07 Final drawings of the Concession / Bathroom addition submitted to WGM. These will be forwarded to the Bldg Dept. for final review. Construction is scheduled to begin in late January. 11/25/07 The existing courtyard enclosure entrance doors will be replaced during A new design will be reviewed for better integration with the existing fence enclosure. 11/27/07 The permanent Driver s Ed perimeter enclosure is in progress along with the concrete foundation for the new shelter. This foundation should be completed by Dec. 3 rd. 11/30/07 Construction continues on the new Theatre addition as the project goes vertical from the Orchestra Pit and is now at ell ½. Casting bed (west) has been placed for the tilt wall framing. Underground chilled and hot water piping installation is beginning, and the building pad for the classroom addition is in progress. 12/03/07 HVAC chilled water lines in progress. 12/10/07 Waterproofing of walls for the orchestra pit in progress; anticipated completion by 12/12/07. 12/17/07 Backfill of excavated area around orchestra pit backfilled and compacted. 12/20/07 Final design elements for Athletic Courtyard area discussed and incorporated into design. 12/24/07 Temporary power to building pad from existing service completed.

3 01/04/08 Underground utility (MEP) rough-in progressing in classroom area in preparation of concrete placement for slab on grade. 01/11/08 Final preparation for concrete placement of classroom slab on grade in progress. 01/18/08 Additional temporary fencing has been installed segregating the last phase of athletic improvements from the occupied campus. 01/25/08 Classroom addition tilt wall panels have been cast in place, curing for anticipated panel erection for next week. 01/31/08 Classroom tilt-wall panel erection in progress, nearing completion. 02/08/08 Classroom tilt-walls are completed. Two corner panels for Theatre are erected. 02/15/08 Installation of steel bar joists and beams for Classroom roof structure in progress. Decking to follow. 02/22/08 Roof dry-in in progress for Classrooms. Foundations completed for Theatre. 02/29/08 Classroom roofing completed, structural steel for Theatre fabricated. Preconstruction meeting for ET upgrades in existing Classrooms conducted. HVAC Temperature Control design completed and reviewed. Project is on schedule. 03/07/08 Installation of the wood bucks for the windows and doors is in progress. Interior framing is also in progress along with MEP trades. Sitework for the new concessions stand is in progress, drainage completed, utilities to be soon. 03/14/08 Application of the exterior wall insulation is in progress. Another section of tilt-wall panels were cast in place for the Theatre section of the building. Classroom interior rough-in work continues with drywall and MEP work. 03/21/08 Classroom fire-stopping is in progress through the corridor, along with the sound insulation. Windows have arrived and their installation is in progress. The tilt-wall panels cast last week for the Theatre are being erected. 03/28/08 Erection of the Theatre tilt-wall panels is nearing completion, the north and south exterior walls remain. Progress has been hindered by windy conditions. The under-slab plumbing and utilities for the concessions building has is roughed in. The project site remains neat and orderly and progress is on schedule. 04/04/08 The underground utility work for the Concessions building is in progress. The Classroom Building has interior MEP work in progress. Drywall installation of the smoke corridor continues. The final foundations for the Theatre have been excavated and compacted. 04/11/08 The slab-on-grade is completed for the Concessions Building. Interior work continues for the Classroom Building while structural steel, joists and catwalks are assembled for the Theatre. 04/18/08 Fire suppression system testing is underway for the Classroom Building. Masonry has begun for the Concessions Building. 04/25/08 - The Classroom Building exterior has been primed and a mock-up of color choices provided. Color selections for both the Classroom and Theatre Buildings have been completed. Color schemes for the Concessions Building will follow. Weather has been favorable for construction and the project is progressing as noted in the CPM schedule.

4 05/02/08 All wall panels for the Theatre Building have been completed and the lightweight concrete has been placed on the metal deck over the stage and seating area. Interior painting of the classroom building has started. The concession building has the masonry walls built awaiting the first lift of grout. 05/9/08 Installation of the catwalks over stage area are in progress as is waterproofing of the walls for the theatre wing. Roofing is also in progress. Classroom ceiling grid has been installed and light fixtures have been placed. Installation of the fire alarm devices and HVAC control wiring is also in progress. Masonry work continues for the ticket booth and the concession building. 05/16/08 Final slab preparation for the area behind the stage is underway for the theatre. Plumbing and electrical rough-in work continues as well. 05/23/08 The classroom building porcelain tile has been installed and grouted. The AHU has been set in place awaiting ductwork and electrical connections. The masonry work for the concession and ticket booth is complete. Roof framing is underway for the ticket booth and trusses and sheathing have been installed for the concession building. 06/30/08 The classroom building is nearing completion with anticipated Substantial Completion to occur by July 14, Power is on, the classrooms are complete, HVAC systems have been started up and the electrical system is nearly completed. Incomplete work in the Science Labs and the exterior is expected to be completed in time for Substantial Completion. Construction of the athletic complex continues and the buildings now have dried-in roof systems and have been painted. Work will continue through the month of July and completion is expected in early August. The Performing Arts building has an exterior cost of primer and the metal roof installation is in progress. Work has begun on interior finishes. 07/30/08 The classroom addition is ready for the teachers to occupy with minimal work remaining for student occupancy. A utilization plan has been prepared by the CM in conjunction with the Owner and Code Enforcement to allow for a safe environment when the students return on Aug. 18 th. The athletic complex is complete except for fencing, gates and signage. This complex ties nicely with the existing school, but is up to date. The performing arts building continues with interior finishes, metal roofing, mechanical and electrical work. The building exterior has been primed and partially painted. Work is also nearing completion on the courtyard door replacement and removal, an additional outdoor seating area, campus wide temperature control system replacement, and other remedial items. 8/29/08 A TCO was issued for the classroom addition prior to occupancy by the teachers and students. The TCO will be converted to a CFI when the performing arts portion of the building is completed December. Classroom punch list completion is underway. The athletic complex also received a TCO prior to school opening. The CM is completing the fencing and the few punch list items for those buildings. Fenced temporary walkway paths have been constructed on the north side of the classroom for teacher / student egress. The classroom building experienced a few minimal leaks from the storm which were related to the ongoing construction. The campus-wide temperature control replacement work is complete with the exception of repairs to some of the existing components, the installation of the graphics package and the performance verification documentation for the chillers. This is scheduled to be completed by 9/12/08 and turned over to Plant Operations. Work on the performing arts wing continues and remains on schedule for December 08 substantial completion.

5 9/30/08 The TCO for both the classroom addition and the athletic complex remain in effect as the punch list continues to be worked. It is anticipated the punch list will be completed by mid-october and scheduled for re-inspection. The existing campus HVAC temperature control system was completed and turned over to Plant Operations on 9/23/08. Punch list items were minimal and were completed the following week, including the repairs to the existing faulty components. The last item left for completion is to rebuild one of the secondary pump bases, which is in progress. Monitoring of the HVAC system is now back under Plant Operations / Maintenance. Work continues on the performing arts wing, with seating bases in progress, stage rigging, and interior finishes ongoing. Final coordination meetings for certain MEP systems and theatre systems will be conducted in October. Work continues as scheduled and remains within budget. 10/30/08 The punch list for the new classroom and athletic complex additions has been completed. Construction activities for both have been finished with only administrative tasks remaining which cannot occur until the theatre wing is completed. Some minor deferred maintenance work is still underway in the chiller yard which is funded by the project contingency. There have been upgrades to the stadium and gymnasium sound systems, also funded from project contingency. Seating for the new theatre is in progress, as is the parking area and site improvements. The final work to be completed will be the addition of a deceleration / turn lane on Bayside Lakes Blvd. This work will not be completed until late December. The balance of the work remains on schedule and within budget. 11/30/08 The performing Arts building is the only remaining building under construction. The interior is nearing completion with carpet, tile and floor sealing in progress. Work on the sound and electrical systems continue, as does building clean-up, touch-up painting and testing. The parking lot base has been set, the islands have been cast and the sidewalk has been placed. Landscaping will begin shortly. The off-site road widening and turn lanes are now in construction having received the final permits. This work is anticipated to be completed by the end of the month, as is substantial completion. The project continues to remain on schedule and within budget. 12/31/08 The performing arts building has received its TCO and is ready for occupancy. Punch list work will be ongoing for the next 30 days. Training for the theatre equipment, rigging, sound systems, etc will commence on 1/5/09 and will be ongoing. Final work is in progress for the turning lane phase and final inspections will be made during the next week. The project remains on schedule and is still within budget. 1/30/09 The Performing Arts building s punch list is nearing completion with only a few items remaining. Training remains for the HVAC and Theatre systems and is tentatively scheduled for the second week of February. O& M manuals are completed and reviewed and are in the process of duplication and distribution. Project closeout continues and is anticipated to be completed in March. 2/28/09 The Performing Arts final walkthrough and inspections are scheduled for the week of March 9 th, 09. Owner training has been completed, and the HVAC TO meeting has occurred. Final closeout documents are in progress with anticipated completion by March 31 st, 09 with audit scheduled thereafter. 3/31/09 Final closeout documents have been received except for the CFI and the draft amendment. The remaining work is completed, including punch-lists and extra work. Preparation of audit documents is in progress and the audit will be scheduled tentatively to begin April 10 th, /30/09 All close-out documents have been received except the CFI which is anticipated the first week in May and the electronic as-built documents which are scheduled for the end of May. Financial documents have been sent to Carr & Riggs for audit review. 5/31/09 Project closeout is complete except for audit and final payment

6 6/30/09 Project closeout is complete, audit is in progress with final payment pending. 7/31/09 No change in status; project is complete with audit in progress and final payment pending. 8/31/09 No change in status; audit nearing completion. 9/30/09 The audit has been completed, the final Contract Amendment has been prepared and placed on the Board Agenda for approval. All retainage has been released with the exception of $3,000 which will be released after Board approval. 10/30/09 The Board has approved the Final Contract Amendment and the project is closed. Final retention to be released.
