No. 27V43, 27V44, Watermain, Sanitary Sewer, Bituminous Trail, Lighting, and Signals HENNEPIN COUNTY TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT (To be opened Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 2:00 P.M.) ADDENDUM NO. 5 CSAH 81; C.P.0203 S.P (TH94) S.P S.P NOTICE TO ALL BIDDERS: This Addendum shall be attached to the Contract Documents and shall be included as part of said Contract Documents. Items herein shall take precedence over any clauses which they modify in the Contract Documents or portions of drawings which they modify or supplement. PROPOSAL S Division S-20 (1606) STORAGE OF MATERIALS, Add the following: Rock crushing operations may be located within the project limits and may be operated between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, except on weekends and holidays. Operations will not be allowed adjacent to residential properties. The Contractor shall make a request in writing to the Engineer for approval of operation location(s) at least 48 hours prior to the start of operations. The operations must adhere to all local ordinances. In addition, the Contractor must place a 6 high chain link fence, with screening at the facilities used for rock crushing, unless otherwise approved by the Engineer. The cost of furnishing the fence and screening is considered incidental. 2. 2 Addendum #5; Page 2 CSAH 81; C.P S.P (TH94) S.P , S.P May 12, 2016 All available driving surfaces (roadway) shall include, at a minimum, two twelve (12) foot paved traffic lanes open in each direction for CSAH 81 and one paved twelve (12) foot traffic lane in each direction for the East Frontage Road and West Broadway. 3. Division S Delete and Replace the third paragraph in subdivision A. Concrete Posts of Section S within, S-116 (2422) WOOD NOISE ATTENUATOR WALL PLANS Construct posts with shear stirrup spacing no greater than the spacing shown in the plans. This and other concrete post details are in the Plan. Fabricator to identify all posts with post number using permanent mark on the bottom of post. Reinforce posts located within 20 feet of the outside edge of roadway shoulder and all posts supporting glue laminated rubrail (standard figure ) with conventional epoxy coated reinforced (non-prestressed) or epoxy coated prestressed strands meeting ASTM A882 with bond characteristics equal to uncoated prestressing strand. Fabricator to identify type of reinforcement (conventional (C) or epoxy coated prestressed strands (P)) in addition to post number with permanent mark on the bottom of post.
