1 FACT SHEET CPC CERTIFICATE III IN Formwork/Falsework This qualification provides a trade outcome in construction of formwork and falsework. covering work in residential and commercial applications. The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as a specialist field of work. Completion of the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (ASCC 2007) is required before entering a construction work site. Achievement of unit CPCCOHS1001A covers this requirement. Qualification Pathways Entry Requirements Study Duration and Enrolment Periods Mode of Delivery Cost How to Enrol Upon successful completion of this qualification you will receive a Certificate III in Formwork/Falsework CPC After successful completion of CPC31511 Certificate III in Formwork/Falsework, you may continue with your studies by enrolling in: CPC30211 Certificate III in Carpentry (NOTE: A large number of the Units of Competency can be Credited across from CPC31511 Certificate III in Formwork/Falsework into CPC30211 Certificate III in Carpentry) CPC40110 Certificate IV in Building & Construction (Building). (One Certificate III competency counts towards the Certificate IV program, plus if you have completed BSBSMB406A Manage Small Business as an Elective this means that there are two Units of Competency can be Credited across) Career opportunities include employment as a: Formworker Students may use this qualification to apply to the relevant state or territories licensing authorities to achieve their building license. This qualification does not have any specific entry requirements. However, completion of Year 12 English and Mathematics is recommended. Enrolments are taken on an ongoing basis. Students can enrol at any time 24/7 on-line, over the phone or in person during business hours. Enrolment is for a period of 12 months. NOTE: This program is conducted by a combination of RPL and gap training. To enrol in this mode of delivery and assessment you MUST be currently working in the building and construction industry performing construction type work with a minimum of 4 years current experience. A maximum of two of the required six elective units may be substituted by selecting relevant units of competency from any Certificate III or IV construction qualification or qualification in another endorsed Training Package. TRANSFER & ELIGIBILITY FOR in CPC31511 Certificate III in Formwork/Falsework. If you have successfully completed ANY of the following Units of Competency or Qualifications listed in columns 3 OR 4 and you can produce Certified copies of your qualification you will NOT have to enrol in the corresponding Unit of Competency in COLUMN 1 to complete the full Qualification because you will be given Credit for that Unit. Evidence of your Qualification could include: Certified Certificates and Academic Transcripts from the Registered Training Organisation who issued the qualification.
