2 DUCT TAPE THORMAS+ GENERAL PURPOSE DUCT TAPE The THORMAS General Purpose Duct Tape is a multipurpose tape considered as a universal product for sealing, repairing, jointing and packaging thanks to its higher adhesion, holding power and tensile strength. This adhesive tape is designed to be applied semi permanently without clean removal. It sticks on all types of surfaces such as paper, plastic, wood, glass, fiber and metal; and due to its anticorrosive properties, it is useful for plumbing where it can be used to wrap sewer lines, pipelines and irrigation lines. It is excellent for stitch and glue work such as bonding edges and covering seams and can be used as protection and sealant in many contexts like home, construction sites, industrial interventions and even agricultural applications. 3 THORMAS++ ALL WEATHER DUCT TAPE The THORMAS All Weather Duct Tape is resistant to tougher environmental conditions such as high and low temperatures (from -10 C up to 60 C, once applied) on different regular and irregular surfaces. It is able to maintain its adhesion and holding power in more extreme conditions but is always considered as semi permanent without clean removal, especially if used outdoor on polar surfaces. Highly durable as it resists drying, cracking and peeling caused by the damaging effects of sunlight, heat, cold and moisture. It finds its main application in the asbestos market as one of the principal tools for enclosures construction, jointing PE foils and preserving from inhaling dangerous fibers during professional removal operations. It can be applied for collision repairs and painting processes with drying cycles at high temperatures of up to 110 C (for 30 min).
