8 STANDARD COMMERCIAL WARRANTY GSA Schedule 03FAC - Facilities Maintenance Regular Service/Maintenance Warranty: When performing regularly scheduled service or maintenance work, ASI warrants its service to be free from defects in the workmanship and materials for a period of ninety (90) days from delivery of such services. ASI's sole obligation shall be to repair or to replace defective materials or to property perform any defective service. Except as expressly provided by the applicable agreement governing the relationship between ASI and the customer or as otherwise limited by law, ASI hereby express or implied, relating to the services or work provided, including without limitation, any implied or express warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or conformity to models, samples or materials. ASI will transfer the benefits of any applicable manufacturer's warranty to Customer upon request of Customer; any warranty claim for goods or equipment shall be made against the manufacturer. Construction/Installation Warranty: When performing construction and/or installation work other than regularly scheduled service or maintenance work, ASI warrants its services to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) year from delivery of such services. ASI' sole obligation shall be to repair or to replace defective materials or to property perform any defective service. Except as expressly provided by the applicable agreement governing the relationship between ASI and the Customer or as otherwise limited by law, ASI hereby expressly disclaims and negates any other representation or warranty, express or implied, relating to the services or work provided, including without limitation, any implied or express warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or conformity to models, samples or materials. ASI will transfer the benefits of any applicable manufacturer's warranty to Customer upon request of Customer; any warranty claim for goods or equipment shall be made against the manufacture. 9 How to Order from Amalgamated Services, Inc. Under GSA Schedule 03FAC Below is a summary of how to order from us. 1. For orders up to $3,500: Develop a Scope of Work (SOW)and have your procurement office place the order directly with Amalgamated Services, Inc. 2. For orders over $3,500 but less than $1,000,000: Develop a performance-based SOW, send a Request for Quote to at least three GSA 03FAC Schedule Holders, evaluate quotes based on your best value criteria, and place the order with the selected contractor. 3. For orders over $1,000,000: Follow the procedures as per #2 above but seek additional quotes. 4. Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). In order to further decrease costs, reduce paperwork, and save time, access Amalgamated Services, Inc. directly by establishing a Blanket Purchase Agreement.
