Page 3 European - II. SPECIFIC CONDITIONS OF THE EUROPEAN TECHNICAL APPROVAL 1. Definition of product and intended use 1.1. Definition of product PARTENA 85 partitions consist of an aluminium framework with a thickness of 85 mm with either opaque board, with finition, either one or two glazed panel. The height of panel is 2500 to 3000 mm. The framework consists of aluminium profiles. The ceiling and floor profile are U-shaped profile reference 1402, 1424 or Vertical profiles are fixed to the ceiling and the floor U-profile with aluminium post reference 1000 and Panels are fixed to the framework by jointing in the ceiling U-profile and then put in the floor U-profile. The aluminium profiles are listed in Annex 1. For opaque partitions the mineral wool is placed between boards Definition of materials Opaque panel Type 1: gypsum board The gypsum sheets conform to EN 520 and are classified as Euroclass A2-s1-d0. Thickness: 12.5 mm. Pre finished wallpaper: PVC DURAFORT, PVC PLASTYLON LAM, PVC PANOLINE or PVC COLLECTION VINYLE. Type 2: gypsum board cellulose fibre reinforced The gypsum sheets conform to EN 520 and are classified as Euroclass A2-s1-d0. Thickness: 13 mm. Density: between 1000 kg/m 3 and 1250 kg/m 3. Pre finished wallpaper: PVC DURAFORT, PVC PLASTYLON LAM, PVC PANOLINE or PVC COLLECTION VINYLE.

Page 4 European - Type 3: wood particleboard The wood particleboard conforms to EN Thickness: 12 mm. Density: 650 kg/m 3 according to EN 323. Bending strength: 13, 0 MPa according to EN 310. Modulus of elasticity: 1800 MPa according to EN 310. Tensile strength: 0.40 MPa according to EN 319. Humidity: 5%-13% according to EN 322. Release of formaldehyde: 8 mg/100g according to EN 120. Insulation The partitions are insulated with 45 mm of mineral wool. Mineral wool conform to EN is classified as Euroclass A1. Density: approximately 15 kg/m 3. Glazed panel Type 4: single laminated float glass 44.2 with PVB interlayer conforms to EN ISO Type 5: single laminated float glass 33.2 with PVB interlayer on gypsum board breast. Type 6: single laminated float glass 33.2 with PVB interlayer on wood particleboard breast. Type 7: single thermally toughened with thickness of 12 mm. Aluminium profiles Aluminium profiles are made with EN AW-6060-T6 according to EN 573 (chemical composition) and EN 755 (mechanical properties). Surfaces are coated.

Page 5 European - Characteristics of coated aluminium Note: the coating on the aluminium conform to following requirements : Reference Criteria Pre-treatment Surface appearance Thickness EN ISO 2360 Two bath of phosphatation Two rinse bath water A rinse bath with demineralized water Drying No blisters, craters, pinholes or scratches Minimum coating thickness Powder coating : Single coat 60 µm Two coat 110 µm 1.3. Intended use The partition kits are intended to be used as lightweight relocatable partition kits for residential building, offices, and public buildings, with an average air temperature range from 5 C to 35 C with a minimum of 0 C and a maximum of 50 C and an average relative daily humidity range from 20% RH to 75% RH. Maximum air relative humidity only exceeding 85% for short periods of time Assumed working life The tests and assessment have been based on the assumption that the working life of partitions for the above described intended use is at least 25 years. This cannot be understood as a guarantee given by manufacturer or CSTB.

Page 7 European - 3. Evaluation of conformity and CE marking 3.1. Attestation of conformity system The systems of attestation of conformity specified by the European Commission in mandate Construct 98/213/EC, Annex 3 as amended are as follows: System 1 for partitions - With Euroclasses A1*, A2*, B* or C* concerning reaction to fire, and for materials for which a clearly identifiable stage in the production process results in an improvement of the reaction to fire classification. System 3 for partitions - With Euroclasses A1**, A2**, B**, C**, D, E concerning reaction to fire, and for materials not covered by system 1. - With any fire resistance class. - For uses subject to regulations on dangerous substances. - With safety in use category IV. System 4 for all other partitions, including partitions with reaction to fire classes A1*** (without testing according to EC Decision 96/603/EC) to E*** and F. * Products/materials for which a clearly identified stage in the production, results in an improvement of the reaction to fire classification; (e.g. an addition of fire retardants or a limiting of organic material). ** Products/materials not covered by footnote (*). *** Products/materials of class A1 that according to Decision 96/603/EC, amended by EC Decision 2000/605/EC, do not require to be tested for reaction to fire Tasks of the manufacturer Factory production control The manufacturer exercises permanent internal control of production. Quality control checks are made on incoming materials and at regular stages throughout the production sequence to ensure the quality and fitness for use of the components. The quality control on the components includes checks on dimensions, material quality. The manufacturer preserves a file describing the task and test made by himself. This file includes information: on the main components of the kit; the gypsum boards, the wood particleboard, the insulation material, the aluminum profile, the glass, and also on the control plan, which includes type and frequencies of the control.

Page 8 European Initial type-testing of the product The results of tests performed as a part of the assessment for this European Technical Agreement shall be used unless there are changes in the production line or plant. In such cases the necessary type testing has to be agreed between the manufacturer and the CSTB CE-Marking The CE marking shall be affixed to the packaging and accompanying commercial document. The symbol CE shall be accompanied by the following information: - Identification number of the notified body (system 1). - Name of the product: PARTENA Name or identifying mark of the producer and manufacturing plant: CLIPS. - The two last digits of the year in which the CE-marking was affixed. - Number of the EC certificate of conformity (system 1). - Number of the European :, and identifications to identify the characteristics of the partition kit and the characteristics where the no performance determined approach is used.

Page 9 European - 4. Assumptions under which the fitness of the product for the intended use was favourably assessed 4.1. Manufacturing All profiles, fixing and gaskets are be manufactured by CLIPS Installation The main operations for installation are: Scribing. Installation of ceiling and floor U-shaped profile. Installation of panels. Installation of post cap. Installation details are given by CLIPS in the manufacturers installation guide.

Page 10 European - 5. Recommendations 5.1. Recommendations for packaging, transport, and storage Packaging CLIPS ensures the packaging Transport CLIPS ensures the transport or let the purchaser to ensure the transport himself Storage The partition panels will be stored in a room specially provided for this purpose. The conditions to respect in storage facilities are those mentioned in the 2.3 of the ETA guide, namely in particular: An average air temperature in the range from 5 C to 35 C with a minimum of 0 C and a maximum of 50 C; An average daily air relative humidity in the range from 20%RH to 75%RH. The maximum air relative humidity may exceed 85% RH only for short periods of time Recommendations for uses, maintenance and repair Maintenance The ETA Holder recommends cleaning the partition according to the following specifications: - Under the normal conditions, it is enough, for the maintenance in a state of cleanliness of the interior elements, periodically to wipe them by means of a clean rag. - The partitions which were not cleaned during a prolonged lapse of time can be cleaned with soapy water, and then rinsed with cold water. One finishes by a cleaning with a soft rag. The use of water and neutral liquid detergents is allowed. - Do never use grittings, liquid or powders some, usually for copper or unwrought aluminium. - The coating aluminum surfaces are simply washed with the water added with 1% of Teepol and are rinsed with clear water (minimum once/year).
