2 The benefits Over a million customers trust Homesafe Doors to secure their homes. And, while creating a safe environment in the home is the main reason homeowners keep choosing Homesafe Doors, we ve locked in a growing number of advantages that continue to make Homesafe Doors the leading customised brand of composite doors. Over the 14 years we have been making doors we have dedicated ourselves to constantly innovating to satisfy our customers needs and not just for security: we research, design and develop to constantly improve the quality, durability, reliability and environmental efficiency of Homesafe Doors. Innovation in design: at Homesafe Doors we think that customers want doors that provide total protection but with a classic and stylish look. We ve enhanced the appearance of Homesafe Doors with such patented processes as FlushGlaze and ColourFusion so they are attractive as well as safe. Innovation in engineering: we seize on new technology to improve all aspects of door construction. Homesafe Doors use laminated sub frames for added strength and we select our materials to withstand the highest tolerances. Innovation on the environment: we make Homesafe Doors in our modern UK factory. This not only preserves and develops local manufacturing skills but also cuts the carbon emissions compared to importing. We curb waste to cut costs and to reduce our carbon footprint. Homesafe Doors combine a secure environment with a welcoming look 2

3 The very toughest materials are used to construct your customised door. 1 FlushGlaze Our patented process hides unsightly gaskets and vulnerable beading. 2 Toughened glass Standard 4mm toughened glass (BS EN 12150) enhances your safety and security. 3 Insulating core High density, thermally efficient core is a weather and fuel bill beater. 4 High impact face Our patented ColourFusion finish helps keep up your door s appearances for longer. 5 Laminated subframe Stronger than a single piece of timber we use recycled materials that protect the environment. 6 Stylish protection Our application of the EdgeGuard process provides added protection On the outside Strength and durability come as standard: we apply the same tried and tested materials to the outside of Homesafe Doors as are used on ships and spacecraft coping with environmental extremes. Amongst the toughest materials are thermosetting resins. These become set after curing and reapplication of heat will not reverse the chemical process that created them. Thus they remain strong, stable and durable whatever the temperature. On the inside Quality engineering comes as standard: each individual door size has a high quality engineered subframe constructed with materials selected for their durability. These are assembled using strong dovetail joints that lock everything together. At the heart of every door is a high-density core. This CFC- and HCFC-free insulation has performance comparable to that used in cavity walls that keep homes warm and fuel bills down. A final touch Homesafe Doors are not only built to last: we also apply the EdgeGuard process that not only adds extra protection against the daily wear and tear, but also enhances appearance, helping your door to look good for longer

20 Vectis plus The Vectis Multi Point Locks represents the future of door security. Vectis is a unique lock system that combines modern multipoint locking with traditional key entry. The Vectis has been created to overcome the growing security problem arising from the vulnerability of the widely-used profile cylinder as a simple and common means of attack. 1 Patented 5-lever mortice technology eliminates the euro cylinder. 2 The Vectis mortice key system protects you from the vulnerability of cylinder bumping, snapping or plug extraction to which conventional locks are subject. 3 Homesafe s Vectis Multi Point Locks provide that extra element of security for those seeking peace of mind. The system uses hook bolts to protect against the use of crowbars along the locking side of the door; a common access point for would be intruders. 4 Traditionally styled bespoke handle which has a unique patented shutter system ensuring weather sealing. 5 Vectis can be keyed alike allowing both front and back door to operate with the same key 6 The Vectis system has a 10-year performance guarantee. 20

21 Saracen secure and Thermally assured The long established Saracen Secure scheme gives you the confidence that all our doors fitted with the Vectis multi-point lock are guaranteed against forced entry. So, you really feel like you re home, safe home. Our Security guarantee gives you peace of mind that in the unlikely event of a claim within 5 years, the Vectis secured door will be repaired/replaced up to a value of 500, with an additional up to 750 paid in compensation direct to you.
