CLDGRI Cold-applied High Friction Surfacing System Cold-applied polyurethane resin surfacing system for high performance skid/slip resistance and/or colour demarcation. CERTIFICATE 02/H066 Aggregates are scattered onto resin, and the resulting high friction surface assists traction and braking, lowering the risk of skidding/slipping and loss of control. Available in two grades, Coldgrip and Coldgrip BBA (Type 1 approved) and in a range of colours. The British Board of Agrément (BBA) has issued a certificate under the Highway Authorities roduct Approval Scheme (HAAS) under which the Coldgrip Type 1 High-Friction Surfacing System has been formally assessed and certified as complying with the performance requirements of a Type 1 system. Areas of Use: Colour Demarcation Cycle lanes orts & dockyards Footbridges Ship decks Subways Leisure areas avements Car parks Airports Railway platforms Bus stations High Friction Roundabouts Traffic lights Sharp/adverse cambers on bends Car park ramps Road carriageways Intersections Junctions edestrian crossings

Benefits: Type 1 BBA/HAAS approved No odour during application or following curing Aesthetically pleasing - no joints or seams Available in a range of colours to enhance aggregate dressing used No heat or specialist equipment needed Coldgrip vs epoxy high friction systems: Quicker curing Less affected by temperature extremes Greater flexibility Better adhesion to asphalt Less affected by age embrittlement Less prone to debonding Coldgrip vs thermoplastic high friction systems: More attractive appearance Smaller build-up differential Low application temperature Brilliant for restricted site accessibility Suitable for use in fire hazard zone Longer service life

CLDGRI Cold-applied High Friction Surfacing System Coldgrip resin can be coloured with an added pigment bag: Neutral Red Green Blue Black Grey Fawn Yellow For the highest achievable friction, calcined bauxite is used. For less crictical areas other aggregates may be considered. Chinese Grey Bauxite Chinese Buff Bauxite Yellow Green Black Chinese Guyanan Bauxite Strong Blue

Red Emerald Green Deep Chrome Green Lemon Yellow Venetian Red Grass Green More aggregates are available, please contact us for further information: Tel: Adbruf has taken every care to provide an accurate representation of the colour of our products. Aggregates are natural materials which are subject to changes in appearance and colour. Some of the aggregates supplied may occassionally contain minor concentrations of iron minerals which upon weathering may result in areas of rust spot staining. These iron minerals occur naturally within the aggregate deposits and Adbruf cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage suffered as a result of such staining. lease contact us to discuss your requirements further.

HTGRI Hot-applied High Friction Surfacing System Hot-applied thermoplastic high friction surfacing (HFS) system for high skid/slip resistance and/or colour demarcation. CERTIFICATE N.17/H258 Hotgrip is a screeded thermoplastic, designed primarily to provide the road user with high skid resistance rather than long-term colour retention, and its properties are achieved by the use of calcined bauxite aggregates to which colours will wear back to after periods of trafficking. The cost benefits provided by the system present a real alternative to other systems and treatments. Available in two grades, Hotgrip and Hotgrip Type 1 HFS (Type 1 approved). The British Board of Agrement (BBA) has issued a certificate under the Highway Authorities roduct Approval Scheme (HAAS) under which the Hotgrip Type 1 HFS System has been formally assessed and certified as complying with the performance requirements of a Type 1 system. Road carriageways Intersections Junctions edestrian crossings Areas of Use: Roundabouts Traffic lights Sharp or adverse cambers on bends Car park ramps

Features and Benefits: Type 1 BBA/HAAS approved rovides a good bond to asphalts, macadams & primed concrete Can be applied quickly and cost effective Highly resistant to water ingress Cooling & hardening within 20 minutes Shorter road closures

GRIEX Hot-applied Thermoplastic Surfacing for Colour Demarcation Range of coloured hot-applied thermoplastic road surfacing materials designed to provide the user with cost-effective colour demarcation and skid resistance. Supplied in three variants, Gripex Fine, Gripex 65 and Gripex 70 to be applied at differing thicknesses dependent on end use. Areas of Use: Gripex Fine Gripex 65 Gripex 70 Light to moderately trafficked areas: Ghost islands Hatched areas Village gateways Slow pads Cycleways Footpaths Moderately trafficked areas: Ghost islands Hatched areas Village gateways Bus bays Slow pads Cycleways Heavily trafficked areas: Bus lanes Bus bays Village gateways ther traffic calming measures

Benefits: Designed for colour demarcation Bright, UV stable colours High performance pigments Naturally coloured skid resistant aggregates Easy to use and can be applied quickly Rapid return to service for treated area rovides good bond to asphalts, macadams and primed concrete Highly resistant to water ingress Colour BS 381C Ref.
