26 What does it mean? Heat-treated wood has undergone heat treatment, not chemical processing. It is heated to more than 205 C, for improved properties throughout the thickness. The wood becomes more stable, stronger, more elegant, and darker. Slows down natural greying (it is wood after all) saturator should be used while cleaning for better UV protection. Composite is material made from wood fibre and thermoplastic, which reduces the risk of cracking. With its very high hardness and high scratch resistance, its dimensions are very stable in humid conditions. Its even colour makes it consistently pleasing to the eye, and highly resistant to climatic ageing. 51
