Approved alternates will be published in an addenda to all bidders registered with Owner.. Workmanship shall conform to all of the methods and operations of best standards and accepted practices of the trade or trades involved, and shall include all items of fabrication, construction or installation regularly furnished or required for completion including any finish, for a successful operation as intended and a fully warranted installation.. Store all materials in such manner as necessary to properly protect same from damage. Materials or equipment damaged by handling, weather, dirt or from any other cause will not be acceptable. The contractor shall be responsible for protecting all materials and equipment furnished under the contract.. Note that wall areas below window sills, upper decks, and roof edges at one to two stories transitions are vulnerable to water damage.. In areas to have siding removed and reinstalled, items shall be removed or loosened and reinstalled: downspouts, hose bibbs, address numbers, exterior light fixtures, waterproof receptacles, telephone, cable TV and other utility boxes, wiring, and/or conduit. Reinstall items to fully operational condition. Field verify extent and location of items.. Inspect condition of gutters and downspouts and notify owner in writing where replacement is needed.. Install new kickout roof flashing at roof-wall transitions from one to two stories and at roof eaves ending at walls. See detail.. Prepare and paint trim, gutters, downspouts, and and new metal flashing at wall trim. Provide one color paint matching vinyl siding body color and one trim color, for each building for all elevation sides. 9. Install new WRB (weather resistive barrier) over wall panels wherever wall panels are exposed during construction. Install WRB per manufacturer's recommendations around wall openings and penetrations for a fully warranted installation. Seal all joints, holes and cuts in WRB. 0. Reinstall vinyl siding per manufacturer's installation requirements for a fully warranted installation. Install butt J channels to trim and soffit transitions. Owner shall provide replacement vinyl siding trim or pieces where needed up to 0% of wall area.. Change order scope: Remove damaged wall panels. Install new replacement wall panels, which shall be CDX plywood matching the panel thickness, /" minimum panel thickness; OSB is not allowed as a substitute.
