3 WOVEN GEOTEXTILE A woven geotextile is a planar textile structure produced by weaving PP/PET filament yarns at right angles. Woven filament geotextiles are preferred for applications where strength and filtration both are required. It is a precision knitted geogrid that offers superior junction strength and a high coefficient of soil interaction. 6 geogrid fiberglass FIBERGLASS GEOGRID Fiberglass Geogrid is one of paving reinforcement geogrid, made from fiberglass filaments that are coated with asphalt. Paving reinforcement geogrid is a kind of new excellent geo-material for the reinforcement of road surface and basement. It is widely used for the reinforcement of asphalt surface, concrete road and basement. 7 MICROGRID Microgrid is a finely-knitted polyester micro-geogrid with PVC coating. It is knitted into the shape of small open aperture size with diagonal "stabilizer" binding yarns to result in a stable product. It has excellent permeability to promote the establishment of vegetation. And the small open aperture provides good interlock with a wide range of soil while allowing water to migrate through the soil. 8 POLYESTER GEOCOMPOSITE Polyester Geocomposite consists of staple fibers, Needle punched Non-woven Geotextile and high tenacity polyester yarns. It is characterised by high tensile strength combined with good in-plane permeability. The fabric provides gas venting, drainage and filtration by retaining silt and soil particles while allowing gas and liquids to follow through. The fabric also provides bonding of the geocomposite to texture liners to enhance the interface friction angle on steep slopes. The drainage net provides planar flow of fluids or gases along the plane of the net. As the drainage function of the Polyester Geocomposite increases the consolidation, soil replacement can be omitted. 9 GLASS GEOCOMPOSITE Glass Geocomposite is composed of Glass Fiber and Needle punched Non-woven Geotextile. It is one of the new geosynthetics material which is used in the construction and reconstruction of asphalt road surface to avoid reflective split, water damage and reinforcement road surface strength. After absorbing asphalt material, Glass Geocomposite will shape into a stable construction layer possessing physical properties such as perfect waterproof performance, high heat resistance and good anti-corrosion ability and with many advantages as high tensile strength, low expansion coefficient, good tenacity and convenient in construction. Especially, it will increase the ability of crack resistance at low as well as high temperatures. The glass geocomposite compounded with asphalt will also resist reflective and fatigue cracking thereby extending the service life of the road. 10 HDPE / LDPE GEOMEMBRANE Geomembrane is manufactured from High density Polyethylene (HDPE) resins by the coextrusion process resulting in a high quality flexible Geomembrane which is impermeable in nature. Compound geomembrane may be of two types - one side non woven fabric and one side PE membrane and two sides non woven fabric with PE membrane in between. The compound geomembrane has a high tearing resistance, and high CBR plunger strength. It has a high temperature resistance as well. It can meet various Civil Engineering needs such as water conservancy, pond and reservoir lining, canal lining, basement/subway waterproofing, terrace garden applications, etc. 8

11 WIRE MESH GABIONS Gabions are baskets manufactured from Galvanized double twisted hexagonal woven steel wire mesh. Gabions can also be made using Galfan wire. Galfan is an alloy made of zinc - 5% aluminum - mischmetal. A PVC coating can then applied to provide additional protection for use in polluted, contaminated or aggressive environments: in salt, fresh water, acid soil or wherever the risk of corrosion is present. Gabions are filled with stones at the project site to form flexible, permeable, monolithic structures such as retaining walls, channel linings, and weirs for erosion control projects.
